I'm running a small scale layer duck Farm here ini West Sumatera, Indonesia.
And I always have problems with litter. Not only because duck's 💩 more wet than chicken one, but also because occupancy within each colony inside the house. And I cant replace the litter oftenly to keep the ducks away from stress.
I found it hard to keep it dry, although i put the water outside the house.
Regarding the thickness of the litter, dont you think it will grow the number of maggots, worms, small bugs underneath the surface?
