What else do you have done to your truck? I have a 2010 Colorado four full door, short bed and I carry tools around, interested in this for the same reason you are, fuel economy. I have the 5.3 4wd.

I put on a JET MAF sensor and throttle body. Tune it with HP tuners.

Its factory 5.3l they were available 09-12

This is the vid I used. Just gotta find the connector pin. DSX gives basic instructions.

It comes with instructions. My ecu is e67 I used pin 5
