I'm a fan of Space Laces, and I admire Marshmello for being willing to release heavier stuff, but this is definitely Space Laces tuning it down a little to spread to Marshmello's fanbase. Shame really as Space Laces imo is one of the greatest OGs.
The thing that annoys me the most is that with all the insane IDs SL is sitting on... This is what he choses to release?? It feels like the spotify monthly listener number got to his head after the last collab with Marshmellow, so he's revisiting this formula. Ffs.

Phone Tap is great, but still create whole EP that each track blow minds like Eptic did with DOOM EP is beyond words. For me, this release is above anything in bass music. This needs some throwback reaction
This track was just weirdly mixed for that techno drop, I kinda feel like instead of the synth being wide and the kick being centered it should kinda be the opposite. Also feels too much like that Virus Syndicate Hairatage track.
Marshmello makes everything he’s involved in mediocre to outright terrible. I respect him for giving recognition to the artist that he collabs with but I just feel like everything he releases is not great imo.
