    I wanted to say thanks for the advice on the 1/32 tapered ball nosed bit. Much cleaner cut than the 30 deg v-bit I've been using. I still think I need to tweek the pass depth just a little. I still have it set for the 3d carvings. From the video it looks like your using 1/4 " pass depth. Once again thanks for the advice on the bit.

      How are you not getting splintering using one of the tapered upcut bits? In my experience it leaves am awful edge
