I love the part where you acknowlegde that we are all sinners and God uses both the wicked and faithful to accomplish his redemptive purpose. Esther and Mordecai were not perfect but they were there. Reminds me of the story of Jospeh, he was hated by his brothers , his brothers plotting his arrest later led him to be the the ruler of Egypt. A relative of mine moved from picing up bottles in the streets and being homless to being homeful and being a business lady..spiritually something was involved for her to end up like that.
The lesson that God works slowly then all at once, has me in tears ❤ my son is 6 and had level 3 nonverbal autism. The speech, occupational, and physical therapies all have helped us, but the progress is very slow. He has just now started calling me mom-mom at 6 years old ❤ Even though this is our reality right now, we can have hope that God is just working slowly for our good and in His perfect timing, He will work all at once. And even if it is when we get to Heaven, my baby will get His healing ❤
I did the whole lesson with you and the life lesson I like the most is where it seems like God isn’t there, but instead He really is working behind the scenes! I love that!!!

oh my goodness i picked the perfect time to do this bible study with you Kaci, another example of my "just so happened" moments!! Ive been struggling with abuse in a toxic household where i never feel safe and my mental state is not stable to hold a job, ive been praying about my circumstances to free me from whats holding me back from being the me that God wants me to ultimately be and i know he is working silently but it does get really hard to be patient and keep focus on His goodness.. this study helped me to slow down and be grateful and confident that he will deliver me from this in his way. everything that has happened to me pushed me to grow closer to Him, i sometimes am grateful for the nasty people in my life because i thirst more for my relationship with God.

Beautiful video. I just completed studying Esther and my lessons were few but eye opening. It was great to add on the lessons you highlight and this has encouraged me to join a Bible study group to share and learn more from other people of God. My lessons were: Esther’s life had a divine purpose, to save her people, so do you. record keeping/journaling or storytelling is biblical: King Xerses jogged his memory by having someone read to him the book of chronicles where he kept record of his rule, through this he remembered Mordecai’s good deed. Traps built for others in wickedness will be our undoing ie Haman being hanged by his house, so do all things with love. Fasting: Esther and Mordecai fasted and she received favour from the king, he re opened his scrolls, her people were saved and victorious

Mine was probably the last one number 17. I feel like I have been waiting for this big change and maybe instead I need to be patient because really it's God's timing not mine.
Maybe it is because I am not a native speaker but I honestly don't quite get the concept of "obedience". You talk about it in such a positive way. But there is blind obedience too. Isn't it more important, to have an own opinion and do what is right in our own eyes and those of God. But everyone else is secondary?
Dear Lord, please let the Blessings of Queen Esther reign down upon me. I know I cannot call it Faith if I wait for my Blessings to be granted before placing my trust in you. That is not Faith. Faith is trusting in you before I receive them. Also, please pray for me Brothers & Sisters as my heart is broken. I've been forsaken by a man who promised to cherish and take care of me for the rest of my life and went onto toss me away like trash. I still continue to pray for his enlightenment as well as his awakening (he does not believe in Christ) but I also know that his conversion is not in my control. Only GOD'S. I keep praying for the Lord to disconnect my longing for this man as I feel so weary and exhausted from the pain of loving him and it not being returned. I also keep praying for this man's enlightenment when it comes to our relationship and how special it really was but I'm not even sure he's on an emotional level to receive it. Lord, heal my heart and my pain. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.
Does not take long to Love the book of Esther if anyone looks into in the context of Christ and "Israel"; ie his bride. Mordecai tells her "if you refuse to go before the king.... Salvation for the Jews will come from another place: but you and your father's line will be wiped out." She replays "The king has not called for me these many days: yet even though it is AGAINST THE LAW, I will go into him"... And Esther put on her best robes (she had not needed beauty treatments for the contest earlier to become queen) went in and stood, silently in the inner court of the Kings palace.. and he responded with being pleased with her and by extending his scepter, and offering half his kingdom to her. She then invited him to a banquet. I do not believe it a coincidence, the Gospel is at 1 point described by Jesus as Almighty God inviting us to a banquet: the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
how much Herman had died the edict he had plotted against the Jews was still valid till they had to stand out for their lives . This means the are things we need to deal with not basing on the surface but in details to be totally free
God name is not mention in the book- ut shows that God is working behind doors even we cannot see it We need to learn to obey in small matters so we can obey in larger matters ( esther is obedient to mordecai from pumunta sa king then e save ang jews) Haman deep desire to be praised- even napa taas na siya, hes not satisfied. It is never going yo be satisfied. God put this hunger for us because He is the one meant to sayisfied it. - the plot you created for revenge will come back to you
I am finding it difficul to be a christian woman and I don't feel Jesus anymore like I did in the past and I don't hear from him. I can't help thinking that it is because I sold my soul to the devil by eating a slice of melon that my sister said was soul food and that I am heading for hell.
The fact is, you didn't say that you sold your soul. If you love Jesus then you never will say that so don't worry. Jesus said that to people who didn't believe in Him and accused/blasphemed Him. So they weren't christians. That is the warning. If they keep rejecting Him, he goes away from them. Then they don't have the wisdom to come to christ (to repent). You need to read the context of the page. You need to read the whole page. Please talk to your pastor if you don't believe anymore. You need to believe to get saved. It is by faith, not by works. Do you have a print out for the 16 life lessons?
Mine was probably the last one number 17. I feel like I have been waiting for this big change and maybe instead I need to be patient because really it's God's timing not mine.
Do you have study guides to go along with your studies?
Maybe it is because I am not a native speaker but I honestly don't quite get the concept of "obedience". You talk about it in such a positive way. But there is blind obedience too. Isn't it more important, to have an own opinion and do what is right in our own eyes and those of God. But everyone else is secondary?

Dear Lord, please let the Blessings of Queen Esther reign down upon me. I know I cannot call it Faith if I wait for my Blessings to be granted before placing my trust in you. That is not Faith. Faith is trusting in you before I receive them.
Also, please pray for me Brothers & Sisters as my heart is broken. I've been forsaken by a man who promised to cherish and take care of me for the rest of my life and went onto toss me away like trash. I still continue to pray for his enlightenment as well as his awakening (he does not believe in Christ) but I also know that his conversion is not in my control. Only GOD'S. I keep praying for the Lord to disconnect my longing for this man as I feel so weary and exhausted from the pain of loving him and it not being returned. I also keep praying for this man's enlightenment when it comes to our relationship and how special it really was but I'm not even sure he's on an emotional level to receive it. Lord, heal my heart and my pain. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.

Mordecai tells her "if you refuse to go before the king.... Salvation for the Jews will come from another place: but you and your father's line will be wiped out."
She replays "The king has not called for me these many days: yet even though it is AGAINST THE LAW, I will go into him"...
And Esther put on her best robes (she had not needed beauty treatments for the contest earlier to become queen) went in and stood, silently in the inner court of the Kings palace.. and he responded with being pleased with her and by extending his scepter, and offering half his kingdom to her. She then invited him to a banquet.
I do not believe it a coincidence, the Gospel is at 1 point described by Jesus as Almighty God inviting us to a banquet: the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

I am finding it difficul to be a christian woman and I don't feel Jesus anymore like I did in the past and I don't hear from him. I can't help thinking that it is because I sold my soul to the devil by eating a slice of melon that my sister said was soul food and that I am heading for hell.
The fact is, you didn't say that you sold your soul. If you love Jesus then you never will say that so don't worry. Jesus said that to people who didn't believe in Him and accused/blasphemed Him.
So they weren't christians. That is the warning. If they keep rejecting Him, he goes away from them. Then they don't have the wisdom to come to christ (to repent). You need to read the context of the page. You need to read the whole page.
Please talk to your pastor if you don't believe anymore. You need to believe to get saved. It is by faith, not by works.
