As a serial pincher, I do it unconsciously because I find it hard to express admiration or any positive affection towards people i'm close with. When I pinch someone, I feel close with them.

i don't know where the aegyo song(s) came from, but it shows up so often because variety show hosts always ask members from most groups - especially girl groups - to show aegyo in one of 3 songs (I find it pretty cringe inducing too, when they do it to each other it can definitely be funny though since they know it's cringey)
I can accept aegyo as a content for kids, since in any culture you can change your tone to a "cute" one to talk or singing to kids.

That clip from 2021 where Siyeon was flirting with the radio DJ...that was a fellow Idol, Wendy, the Main Vocalist of Red Velvet. She is my Ult Bias in all of K-Pop (and maybe in all of Music). She had her own radio show for about two years. SuA had been a semi-regular guest on Wendy's radio show for a while. After a while SuA had to stop being there because things FINALLY picked up for DreamCatcher and the schedules suddenly became impossible to mesh together.
