    Managing medications can be difficult, especially when you’re juggling multiple medications, and they’re taken at different times of the day.
    In comes Hero’s medication management service. I’ve loved using it because it helps me avoid missed doses, which in turn helps with better outcomes of my diabetes management overall.
    Curious to hear what you think, and let me know in the comments if you’d give it a try.

    Great review! I’ve had my Hero for 18 months and can’t imagine how I’ve ever lived without it. I had a kidney transplant 2 years ago and I’m on 10 meds. It was a real hassle keeping up with my vigorous pill schedule. I’d constantly forget to take pill here or there, or I’d forget whether I took it already, and risk overdosing.
    While this device is pricey, it’s well worth every dollar. I seriously wish they would just sell these devices outright. That’s my only gripe with the machine/service.

    This is a great idea! Why do we have so much trouble remembering to take the medication we've been taking for so long?? I've even gotten my pills ready to swallow, get distracted, and find them sitting on my desk hours later. I hope this helps cause I need it! Thanks, Mila!

      I do the same thing - you're not alone. And let me tell you, this thing does not let you forget lol! Between the push notifications and the notifications from the smart dispenser, it really won't slip your mind! If you give it a try, I'll be excited to hear how it goes for you.

      Yes this will help you adhere to your schedule. I’ve had mines for over 18 months and can’t see how I’ve lived without it. The apps gives you your adherence percentage and notifications via the app on your phone and on the device. I’ve had a kidney transplant and take ten meds daily, and was constantly forgetting to take my meds or if I already took them. I’d highly recommend getting this device to manage your condition.

    Thank you Mila. Managing my medication can be a hassle. Last night I was trying to work out if I had my Metformin, i couldn't work out if I'd had it. Kept wondering if I should just take another one. Hero would be really handy

    • @TheHangryWoman
      @TheHangryWoman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That happens to me all the time. I honestly can’t tell you how many times I’ve skipped doses because I forgot, or just got busy and it slipped my mind in the moment.

      Same here! I'd seen it for a while before I tried it out, and I'm really amazed at what tech can do! I didn't go into the story of how Hero was founded, but the founder was a physician who became of caregiver to one of their parents. They created it to make it easier for people to keep track of, and take their medicines. It's a really good idea, and works wonderfully. I've only missed one dose of my medications since using it, and love that it keeps track!

    Mila!! This is so great. I had never heard of the Hero but we were just talking to our doctor about a device that would help us take our meds on time. I don't think she knows about the Hero but we're going to sign up for the service and let her know about it. Thank YOU!

    And sometimes I have a foggy memory did I take my meds or throw in trash that has happened so many times .. because I take lots of meds day and night...I probably should get it and put it next to coffee maker

    • @TheHangryWoman
      @TheHangryWoman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's exactly where ours is! Right on the coffee bar. If we had more room, I'd love for it to go into the bathroom, but I usually take my medicines in the kitchen anyway, so the placement works!
      If you give it a try, let me know how you like it.
