    Great video!!! thanks!!!
    I got mine back to life after more than 10 yrs; the most troblesome and infuriating part was the tiny screw that holds the collar :)

    Hi! Bought a Vitessa "T", the same camera with a removable lens.
    Everything work well, I've just an issue with the bulb mode.
    When I shoot with this mode the shutter don't close himself when i release him. I v'e got to push the plunger rod a little bit to get the shutter closed.
    Do you have any idea how to get it work? Or should I return my camera to the seller?
    Have a nice day.

    I have bought the Voigtlander Vitessa A2 model, it came with the case.I do not like the case, can you think of a solution for me for carrying the camera because it does not have lugs for a strap? Thanks

    Thanks for the interesting vid! I have a Vitessa T where the shutter blades remain open, closing sometimes all the way, sometimes part way, do you have any adive on this? It would be much appreciated! I really want to start shooting with this camera.

      mikeno62 Thanks for the advice, have tried cleaning the shutter, the problem seems a bit more serious, when I push down the plunger it seems to cock the shutter on the down stroke and release it on the up stroke, with the actual shutter release sounding like it's triggering when you push it. All the time with using the shutter release or the plunger, the shutter blades move to random positions.

      @@FookFish Hi, yes! I got mine working, it was indeed old oil in the shutter mech. I stripped the front of the camera and cleaned it, though not very professional and it's been working perfectly since! I didn't video the process but I took photos which you're more than welcome to.

    Thanks. Do you have any experience repairing the plunger/advance on this camera?

    Whats the lens quality difference between a Summicron from same period and the Ultron on Vitessa , and Konica IIIa ?

    Hi, my shutter won’t open but all my gears seem to be working alright on my Vitessa L. Do you have any suggestions? This was a helpful video

    • @mikeno62
      @mikeno62  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would guess there is oil on the shutter blades or the aperture blades, you can clean them with lighter fluid.

      @@mikeno62 All resolved. The screw for the for the cocked shutter release mechanism simply needed tightening. Have a working camera again after 25+ years
