Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is GUILTY beyond a reasonable doubt as she was the PRIMARY armorer basic responsibility to ensure all firearms were safe with no live rounds on the set. She showed gross negligence and should have received life in prison. She got very lucky with 18 months for the death of an innocent person. Her father needs to be charged with the retired police officer for tampering with evidence!
The Santa Fe DA should appeal this dumb ruling ( he wont though). Nobody else in New Mexico gets a dismissal for not being told about evidence that may not even have anything to do with their case. The judge's logic was hardly compelling. For her Baldwin's guilt depended on what kind of bullet he used : If it came from the official armorer then he's guilty of involuntary manslaughter but if it came from someone else, then he wouldn't be criminally responsible under New Mexico's involuntary manslaughter law. Adjourn the trial for a month if necessary to mitigate any possible unfairness to Baldwin caused by the late disclosure but dont throw out the entire case after 20 minutes of deliberation. Poor people barely receive due process from our courts but oh what a difference a dollar makes as wealthy people so often get more process than their reasonably due.
