Definitely agree with you there, and I do believe that the Waterloo Region could further improve transit priority, among other aspects of the ION system. It's just referred to as "rapid transit" because it's still faster, higher-order transit when you compare them to local buses. Still, this is an example where North American LRT is crafted and engineered well. It showcases what LRT can do best, and is executed at a decent level. In my opinion, this mode of transit makes a lot of sense for an urban area like Waterloo.
