The power of "The X" is incredible. The deck definitely has the feel of everything to the vanguard always lol. If the missing grade 1 gains power in any way. That would make the side columns enough of a threat to really bring the deck togther if you ask me.
Deck is already strong, no need to make the other columns good as well, it’s the point Overlord usually. Lots of Vanguard interactions but your rears aren’t the most prominent.
@@ciphercode1075 the first game saw Overlord just doing what it should be doing, it didn't really "pop off". Second game it probably wouldn't have mattered unless he had a Belenus and Iseult in hand.

Kagero not having much draw power or searching generally won't have a full field unless they were lucky and drew what they needed. And second match, he did have a Belenus and he could of returned Pongol to hand for an extra 10k shield but he returned an Altmile instead for some reason.

i'm working on an ovelords deck with 4 X 3 end 3 great. easier to keep the deck's flow going. however my grade 2's 4 neoflame, 4 dekat, and 3 igniroad. and i run 4 sabel and 4 aermo. should I run 4 torrid cannon instead of dekat, or go for 2 and 2.
Since you got neo flame I would suggest running one or the other cause 2/2 basically makes you chances of seeing one or the other slim Also highly recommend Calamity Tower Wyvern
@@TopDeckHeroes i have a playset of calamity and makes it tough to consider since i will run 4 lava flow. I probably will stick with torrid for draw power. Wyvern and lava flow will be debatable
@@chronoshindou9848 i do notice that at times. but when i run out of fuel it's nice to have a backup. plus with 6 targets in deck instead of 4 it's an easier flow. plus torrid cannon dragon helps keep it up

The X, while strong, is such a glass-canon deck... lol... if you don't like taking much risks, I'd say Blademaster is a bit more consistent in comparison...

@@aviorretsan803 Yeah, and we also have the combo with Striken. A VG with 3 crits that can attack 3 times is just nut, not to mention he can do that when your opponent is at G2. The X is already on the level of G-era IMO.

Any and all new card effects are shown the first time the card is used Older cards that are already out (or in Altmiles case would have been out) we do not show as we assume people know most/some of the effects
Personally, I think you should of attack Overlord's RGs in the second match as limiting counterblast can help and the G3 turn will be a lot less threatening when Overlord doesn't have RGs. From my testing The X tends to run out of steam if the game progresses long enough (soul being a big limiting factor if you couldn't draw into Dekat or that new G1). So you should try and play more conservatively and keep damage low as you probably have to take 1 hit and hope for damage triggers.
Well I think that’s an OK general strategy to do Against The cross, But I feel like you’re implying it wrong in this situation, both the Vanguard and rear guard he attacked with was threatening lethal, which means the cross has to guard no matter what unless He for a heel trigger (which if you’re a good player you should never hope for a heel trigger unless it’s your only option) since the cross player is forced to guard their inherently going minus, and if the rear guard numbers are large enough then he’ll force the opponent to to Guard with two cards, inherently forcing your opponent to guard with two carts is more effective than just killing one rear guard because if he really needed that rear Guard to do pressure he would have guarded to protect it. also it’s important to mention that he still had one last rear Guard that wasn’t threatening Lethal that he could have attacked the end with I might have done if the game didn’t end there
@@empireyouth5791 I was referring to the early game during his G2 ride since The X called a full front row. The new G2 is especially prime target to remove as that thing gets big which makes it more threatening.
Now, if Overlord get first its always win, it can easily kill opp that in g2 The requirement for the skill is to easy I think it will get errata like Riviere
@@lukaslivengood5687 lol out of four VRs they got previously only two were good in the meta of that time, Waterfall and Great were good in the meta of that time, however Nouvelle was absolute trash, and The End was too slow and needed extreme requirements. So yeah, they did needed something to keep up with the meta, and trust me without drawing into Calamity Overlord's pressure isn't much unless you go Force 1 whereas Altmile can build entire field without even wasting hand on the first ride.
@@chronoshindou9848 Finally someone get it that Overlord was very lucky in all 3 games to find Calamity especially the first 2 games when he was a 2 of. It also contribute significantly that he drew into Ignid and the other G2 for a beatstick RG and a draw and retire for the first 2 games. If The X doesn't have a field, he becomes much easier to deal with especially with a deck that can plus a lot.

Seems healthy for the game that even when going first, a deck as powerful as Altmile can just barely squeak out a win.
Well to be fair, in the first game Overlord popped off with a full field and in the second one Altmile had bad luck with 3 G3s in hand.

In the 2nd game the power of the x is 53,000....not 43,000.....becoz the skill of the end when you discarded three cards you will get plus 10000
