    I have just come out my PM exam and honestly I cannot thank you enough. Your strategy really helped. I however didn’t prep for linear programming which popped up in Sec C. Thank you Once again

    I have been studying for this chapter for the last few hours and didn`t understand the concept properly but I only spend 26 minutes in this video I master the chapter.

    Thanks Steve, very helpful. When I first looked at linear programming and the simultaneous equations I was horrified, but now after a few hours of practice I am very comfortable answering these questions. I'm praying I have a section C question like this in my December exam!

    Hats off to you Steve a very important and insightful topic explained in a very simple & lucid manner giving more confidence to tackle LP & shadow pricing problems. Good job & look forward to see more videos on Standard Costing & variance analysis. 👋

    Hello sir. Do we need to right-click the column separator to auto-enlarge when we type in our sentences for explanation ? Will the examiner be able to read my discussion answer if I do not auto-enlarge the column that I type in my sentences ?

    • @SteveWillisACCA
      @SteveWillisACCA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The markers will read your answers, even if they have to adjust the column width.

    Hello Steve.
    Please remind me how to find the iso contribution line

    • @SteveWillisACCA
      @SteveWillisACCA  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Take a fixed contribition, say $1000. How many X's give 1000? find that point on the X axis. How many Ys? Find that point on the Y axis. The line connecting that is the iso-contr. line.

    how do we know which is the scarce resource to add an extra unit to?

    • @SteveWillisACCA
      @SteveWillisACCA  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      you have to test each resource -- how much do we have vs. how much do we need. You need to multiply demand * resource use per unit.

    Trying to figure put why you multiply by 2.5

    • @SteveWillisACCA
      @SteveWillisACCA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi that comes from algebra. We need to subtract one equation from the other. The first one has 5l the second 2l. We multiply the second by 2.5 so the equation also has 5l. Now we can subtract the second from the first, and have 0l, and can isolate the first variable.
