That's how I feel when drawing characters. If I can manage to draw hands successfully, what are they supposed to be doing?
You can always ask the photographer because they normally help you out on posing and positioning! Trust me I understand that feeling. It's not just the hands, the whole body can be awkward to position at times in a photoshoot so just relax and be more confident about yourself. Check some simple poses online too. It helps a lot! :)
