Under a hetrosexual lens, I think their interaction and the reaction is a good case of how men view what is attractive in other men as opposed to what women view as attractive in men. I always found it interesting seeing men in discussions in what is and isn't attractive in men as it suggests they're not even thinking about a women's perspective, but solely a male's perspecive. Hence the befuddlement. Nevertheless, in this scenario, both parties are just having fun and making content.

@iamgoo I see when I write that broadly, it would convey that I'm writing in an absolute, which isn't where I would position myself on the subject. Broadly, women and men and nbs would have differing appeals for what they may interested in for a partner romantically or even plutonically. Within that broad stroke, there is nuance to attraction. There's men that would view romantic attraction similar to women, vice versa, vice versa. So with my initial statement, I would agree with you under some healthy and retortful scrutiny. So thank you for that. Hopefully, you can understand where I'm coming from now
