The thing with Serbia is: they don't send their acts to please the Eurovision international fans, they send their representative to please THEMSELVES. They want to showcase their culture, their traditional and they want most of all to demonstrate to Europe that THIS IS SERBIA and we like to do things our way. Gotta respect them for that. Breskvica is not my favourite from PZE this year but it's almost guaranteed that she's gonna be selected, let's just hope that the performance will get more polished for Malmö

Serbian minority newspaper 'Novosti' in Croatia wrote of a very political aspect of this song, in the verses talking about black birds attacking eagle's nest, which is interpreted as Kosovo (black birds on their flag, i.e. Albanian flag - Kosovo population is 92% Albanians) and Serbia (eagles on the flag). So it's likely this song, if selected, will be rejected by the EBU.

Uhm, no. You can interpret it as you wish, but the lyrics are clean - aren't there black and white birds in nature? Isn't that a universal symbol of good and bad in like every epic movie ever (Lord of the Rings let's say: Eagles vs black dragons)?
@@milosnikolic6154Uhm, no, I disagree. If it wasn't for 'Breskvica' herself talking on TV the other day about Serbians as 'celestial people' the black and white could be construed as a universal message. Both her performance and lyrics are choke-full of nationalism, and not in a good way, sadly.
