@@stacyaaa9471 Wait a minute... So Gab Smolder's name isn't Gabriela or whatever. (Another comment here referred to her as Evelin). And jacksepticeye's name isn't Jack... It's Sean.
I'm in hysterics over how fast they made senpai's walk cycle. Nothing says "retail manager" like being extremely rude then leaving as fast as possible.
It felt so good to hear Gabs say she wasn’t cut out for being a barista and being a waitress and stuff, because all my friends are like “how tf can you not do it it’s so easy” I literally cannot explain the relief I felt when she talked about her struggles cause I thought I was just completely talentless, I’m glad I’m not the only one who can’t do it haha
As someone who was a barista for 4 years, it's not an easy job to do. There are so many elements to everything and you have to balance baking, taking orders, making orders, and customer service as well as memorizing a ton of recipes and info on those recipes all within a very limited time frame. I loved being a barista, but it's a very difficult job.
Cistumer service jobs are *hard work*. Especially in the food industry, holy crap. You have to memorize recipes, have to constantly have a pleasant customer face, in some cases have friendly, polite chats with people... it's exhausting work, and the farthest thing from easy, no matter how able bodied/neurotypical you are.
i dont know what your friend work with in terms of barista, i've work in this industry like 3 years and no this is not a easy job not just barista every costumer service job is super hard not to mention if you got inpatient costumer
It's easy if you work in a store that is slow. I work in fast food. Flipping burgers and packing fries into cartons isn't difficult, but it becomes a lot harder when you have 10 orders coming in at once and the manager is nagging you to try and average completing an order every 2 minutes or less.
@@VitorMach I've seen a lot of Chilla's Art games (I really like the style of them), and I definently didn't understand certain parts, but it's still fun to play even if you don't know all the context ☺️
Japanese games and movies are the scariest. My first horror film was the Japanese "The Ring" and the game Resident Evil 3 when I was 8 years old. Even then I realized that Japanese horrors are scarier than American ones. I do not know why. Although they were very much inspired by the American writers Poe, Lafcraft, King. Sorry for my bad english. I'm still using google translator :)
Haven’t been that startled from a jump scare in a loooong time. I once had a “regular” when I was a server that really crossed several lines as he would stay in the establishment for very long hours only when I would work shifts, leave large tips and hold that over my head. Constantly make crude comments. He started staying until I would clock out at night and insist on walking me to my car and sometimes follow me out of the parking lot, and he usually had been drinking. An incident happened and my male manager finally took me seriously. I stopped working there and never saw him again. But still, it escalated and scared the crap out of me. This game scares the crap out of me too.
Yeah I'm a male bartender for a bar slash club and work with nothing but super hot girls in their early and mid 20's. The things I've seen dudes try to pull there is insane. Luckily we have top notch security.
@@chipchippahson yes I experienced a lot of that but this one specific guy started to feel as though I had actual feelings towards him because I was nice to him because it was my job in hospitality! I bet you have some crazy stories!!!
I can relate to your restaurant story on a spiritual level. Worked for a catering company and managed to let steak slide off the plate onto someone's lap on TWO separate occasions. My co-worker nicknamed me "the steak slinger" 😩
I am AWFUL at opening wine bottles and the restaurant I worked at wanted to do table service... my manager was watching me struggle and just told me to call him over whenever a table ordered wine T_T
At 36:32 it was the customer who said "don't nihongo jozu me", he's the one who is not Japanese but has been living there for 15 years. The only pastries he ordered were the ones that had "American" in the name lol The way the game shows the dialogue sometimes makes it unclear who's talking.
when the stalker man looks over at the player when they return the phone gabs: laughs and talks about how funny looking it is sean: horrified, deeply unsettled
What I like about this game is that it properly conveys the fear response that people, in this case women, would have if they were being stalked. If you pay attention, there is more than one guy being creepy towards you or that freaks you out. The guy that you returned the phone to and was ultimately the stalker in your home, the young guy in the hoodie that stood outside the windows, the other young guy who paid for the other man, the guy asking for your number, and the guy who left a note at the drive-thru. All this time you think "Is that him? Or is that the guy? Or him?" because you're not really sure. You think it's definitely gotta be the guy from the beginning, and it is, but the game trips you up and makes you wonder. And, I don't know if this was intentional or not. But the two different notes you see seem like they are from two different people. The first one says "we met at Chilla's." Unless the guy from the parking lot had met you as a customer and then followed you back to your apartment complex and that is where you see him in game, then that's not him. Because that is where you met him. In the parking lot. Someone else met you at Chilla's when you were working. It's possible that the MC has two different stalkers. But I might just be mistaken. I just know that the guy who ordered milk and the parking lot guy have two different character designs. But that's what I love about this game. It's a very real thing that can happen and there's more than one possibility for the truth. It's so creepy, I love it. Glad you played it.
The notes are from the same people I think, in the second one he says "she picked up my phone and went out of her way to give it to me. I knew she felt the same way I did" which means he was there stalking her already, and he took this interaction as her reciprocating. He also said "today is our anniversary " which most likely refers to a year of him stalking her.
Both notes are from the same person. If you pay attention to the little details, you can tell it's all him. They probably just met at Chilla's a while back since in the second note he says it's their anniversary so he's been stalking her for a while. He's the only stalker, everyone else is just a weirdo.
Multiple times people mention the protagonist's looks, telling her she's not pretty enough to have any worries about creeps. But not only is that mean because everyone is beautiful in their own way, it's stupid, because stalking and sexual harassment has nothing to do with the victim. The perpetrator is sick in the head and doesn't care who they hurt for self-gain.- or can't understand the reality of what they're doing, as seems to be the case with this guy, he's deluded like in the movie Joker.
might be one of my favorite chilla's art game, because wow the way they nail how it feels like to be a woman working in retail and listening to horrible shit from men like what's your number? what's your name? and keep pestering you is so spot on lol
God yes. I feel this is the scariest Chilla's art game so far, only because it's so real and it can ACTUALLY happen! I worked as a cashier in a grocery store and I had a guy that consistently came through my register, asked for my number, then he eavesdropped on a conversation between me and one of my coworkers. He then started talking about things I liked because he'd overheard it, and when he learned I liked hiking, he invited me to go on a hike with him. Yeah, immediately I told him my computer was fucked up and I had to get a manager. The dude was creepy af and we had the police called on him a few times for harrassing other girls in the store, and asking them to go on hikes with him. He was so fucking gross, I hope no one ever accepts him (because you know creeps like him are still doing shit like that). Thankfully my store was great and would often assign a male manager if there was ever a closing female staff member, and it was required that they walk them to their cars and such. Another girl in my store was actually chased by a man and she was nearly kidnapped. People are fucking disgusting and awful...I truly don't understand them
So freaking true. I worked at a campground one summer, and the amount of old men that commented on my eyes, my body, my anything, was more than I made in money that summer. Just the worst.
About the mom and the empty stroller: I'd theorize that as the mom clearly zooms by with her kid like we've seen, she probably got into some kind of accident and lost her baby. Maybe they got ran over by a car (maybe even on the parking lot) and the baby died, but she definetely couldn't fully come to terms with it, even going as far as walking around with her empty stroller - albeit not as fast - as if nothing had happened. But she DOES know what happened, so that's why she was crying. Or maybe the stalker killed the baby, as he could've seen the mom being rude to the main character and thought she deserved to be punished somehow! Plus, your name was on the supporters list, Gabs! Jack shows it on his video, it was really sweet seeing your name there!
Gab translate at the end that the TV was saying a "young person" had been kidnapped and not found yet, maybe it was that woman's baby? Just speculation
Super late on responding but I guess I theorize that, since the baby didn't have clothes on when you first run into them, I thought that maybe the baby caught a cold and passed away. Or yeah maybe she was zooming too fast and got hit by a car :o
I thought it was that the baby died from neglect. The baby had no clothes or blankets in the pram so I thought that since it was the winter months (or snowing) that maybe the baby was too cold and died because of it
Kinda reminds of the time my sister got stalked by some biker guy. She was out with a friend for dinner and the guy approached her and he got progressively creepy while they talked so she asked him to leave her alone. He threw a fit so the staff made him leave and when my sister left to go home he was waiting outside and followed her to her car and tried to follow her home but thankfully she was coming to visit me so we called the cops on him. He continued to harass her for a few weeks but any time she tried to report it she got met with either "Sorry, nothing we can do for you." Or "You should be flattered someone wants to stalk you." He finally fucked off after our brother lent her his huge af dog and it tried to attack him when she took it out on a walk
Your brother’s dog is a saint icl, I wish I could have seen the look on that creeps face I’m glad that he stopped following her though, I hope she is doing better now
I currently work at a public facing job (library) and I have also worked retail. Pretty much all of these customer interactions (right down to the half naked man) are sadly, not too uncommon and I have had my fair share of all of these experiences.. At my current job, some of my colleagues have protection orders against certain patrons because of situations like this game; and that is why this game is so damn scary for me lol. It's just far too real and they nailed the tension. It was just long enough to really settle in and the fact that he didn’t ‘do’ anything till the very end is just so unsettling. 10/10 horror game lol.
I work at a library too (and was working retail as well before) and can confirm on the situations.. >< Both jobs can confirm have these kinds of customers/ patrons. =.= Many people don't realize how weird it can get at a library lol >.>
@@spicaX09 Right?? So many people think my job is so chill and picturesque. And sure, there are some cozy chill quiet days. But most of the time we are dealing with the most cursed shit ever lol and it’s only a Monday lol. I love my job but it’s still the public.
When I worked reference, I had some patrons who got too attached and basically had to be corralled, both with me and with my coworkers. Thankfully, I never had to get a protection order or really get anyone other than security involved. But people can get very weird with library staff.
I worked libraries too! 2 guys. One was unsettling and affecting my ability to work but no one took it seriously. Damn security guard cracked a joke about it and that made me pop off, reminding coworkers we'd had harassment training the previous week. It was handled that day. Second one targeted me because he was banned from the library for aggression. Had nothing to do with me, he just saw me in the area and decided to attempt intimidation. Said he was gonna sue every librarian for racism...the guy was white. Told him okay but was extremely shaken so reported it to my job and the next time I saw him, called non-emergency police. Officer came out, started a paper trail, told him to back it up or I could charge with harassment. Again, haven't seen since. Other weirdos of course but those are the ones that actually impacted my life.
Long time ago I used to work in a shop and even if it was only for several months, I can attest that on that job you can encounter absolutely EVERY kind of freaks almost EVERY day. Yeah, that game is really nails the experience (minus stalkers, but I'm a man, lol).
Okay for real though? One of my very dear friends grew up with an unconventional type of ED that had to do with taste, smell, and texture, so his diet was extremely restrictive for a long time and one of the safe drinks was milk. (He's since gotten consultation and regularly works through said condition, which is awesome!) He would in fact go to Starbucks and order a cup of milk. He knew how weird it was, but it seems like the employees are usually kind of amused and would remember him fondly for it. I guess practically speaking it's very low effort for them and he has such a gentle, nerdy sort of presence. I thought of him as soon as I realized you were making straight cups of milk for the order around 40 minutes and started to laugh. About to text him like "finally you've gotten some representation in gaming" 🤣 Getting hit on as a retail/food service worker though... ugh... it's such a trap! You're stuck cause you have to be polite to people and you can't just walk away when you're working. I got it a lot when I worked at a comic book shop and then my boss said I got complaints that I "seemed like I hated being there" because I was trying to work during really busy shifts and they kept trying to flirt 💀 explained that to my boss and he went "well that's irrelevant" and kept berating me.
Whoa, I didn't even think about the lady with the empty stroller as being the same woman in the jump scare. Kind of scary and sad that later on she's crying and still pushes the stroller despite it being empty now... interesting subplot going on there.
This game has all the horrors of working retail, both strange and mundane, it's almost like having ptsd watching this, or maybe anxiety is a better comparison.
I have a couple different forms of anxiety ranging from social, separation and some ptsd that I’ve been able to help myself but there are times in vehicles if someone slightly goes off the road my car accident comes flooding back to me and I start freaking out (ptsd is also a form of anxiety) but I feel this fits more of the general anxiety like the feeling like someone is watching you type
Not really, there are other games out there of this style, the thing is games about stalkers are easy horror games cuz they're real shit. Nothing to do with japanese, this is actual horror, if you've watched her other videos (or any youtuber's at this point since everyone is playing the same games for views) you will se other not japanese games about stalkers or creeps in houses, so yeah.
I watched Seán play this a few days ago, so I was really looking forward to you playing it, too! They did such an eerily amazing job making this feel all too real. So many of these games recently have been tapping into a lot of my own personal fears and insecurities.
I always think of that time me and my friend caused an accident in Akita by being white and black foreigners, haha. We got out of the car simultaneously and startled someone into braking. They got rear-ended by a car pulling into the restaurant parking lot. They don't get foreigners out there often, so I don't blame them for gawking. Luckily their car was okay, hahaha :D but it gave us a good laugh. Now, anytime I play a Japanese game involving cars in anyway, I always think back to that woman's bumper XD
Nobody seems to pick up that there are at least two stalkers...the two creepy texts don't make sense from the same person even if poorly translated. Only the phone guy is violent about it though.
I thought the same thing because both of the stalkers look different, and both had texts saying completely different things! Let's just say they are both creepy as heck! 😅
I don't get why people say the letters are from different people... Both letters talk to or about the main character in a creepily "loving," yearning way. They both make a point out of small details, like "She smiled at me" and "She talked to me." They both discuss their infatuation with her, saying "Just thinking about her makes my heart pound," and "I knew she felt the same way I did. We are in love." They both take note of dates, addressing "The day we first met" and "Today is our anniversary." They're clearly written by the same person. The stalker just met her at Chilla's some time previously. He even mentions it's been at least a year of him stalking her. Also, even in the theory where there's two stalkers, both are violent, and both are creepily obsessive. I hate it when people say otherwise, just proves you weren't paying attention.
@@erikas2423 we'll never know either way. chillas art wont probably confirm anything though but theres literally blood on the letter. Why would there be blood if it was from the same person?
Yes hahaha I put this on yesterday and basically passed out before anything happened. She made the vibe so relaxing and nice actually, if she just played this I’d like it a lot XD
@@DashzRightyou have the charisma of a blade of grass constantly brushing against my foot in my shoe during a long day of work that I just can't get out
Spoilers: for people that didnt notice, there is actually two different "stalkers". the first stalker is the long tall guy with the creepy face, who we are introduced with at the beginning that we helped return his phone. we see him after we get off the bus, and also when he comes into the coffee shop once and doesnt buy anything and just sits the whole time and then leaves. the second stalker is the man in the hoodie. he is the one that creepily stands outside the store windows as we talk with the old man at the register. he also then comes in and orders pastries and a bunch of milk, and sits in the blind spot of the store and leaves the photo of us on the table. it is then revealed that HE is the one who has been living in the back of the store. so in conclusion to clear things up, the phone guy stalker, is the one that actually physically tries to attack us and depending on what ending you get, murders us; and the second stalker, hoodie dude, is the milk guy that was snapping pics of us and living in the store, but doesnt actually physically harm us. you can tell they are two different men bc 1. their faces are very different (hoodie guy is much younger looking and generally has a nicer looking face) 2. phone stalker guy and also the one that jumpsacres us at the closing sign (and eventually attacks us) is like 6'6" whereas hoodie milk guy is only around 5'6". you can tell the height difference by comparing when each walk into the cafe and walk past the bookcases by the door! 3. their clothes Anyways-just thought i'd share this since i dont think i've watched one lets player who actually came to this realization that there were two different stalkers!
Omg I’ve seen MULTIPLE people play this game from start to finish and watched all the different endings, and yet NOT ONCE did I catch that!!! Sometimes I even surprise myself with just how incapable I am of comprehending visual details 😅
What better than a new video uploaded by Gab after a grueling 8h shift! So glad to distract my mind from work! ... I work as a barista. I howled at the filter coffee used for latte (filter coffee + milk is a "cafe au lait" or coffee with milk/ steamed milk, a latte is an espresso + steamed milk) Jokes aside, they have nailed the interactions with customers, including them leaving without a word after getting their order. And creepy customers, I had a woman coming every day at the same time who just drank her coffee fixing me, so creepy. After like a month, she asked for my number and I was like ... Girl if you had asked the first day, maybe but now no you're creeping me out. Another customer, a grown a** man just yelled at me one morning because his order of "extremely hot latte" was "not hot enough". Enjoy your burnt milk. For stalkers, the most important thing is that if a client asks you info about one of your coworker, you keep your mouth shut. Their hours ? you don't know. Are they married ? You don't know. Are they single ? YOU DON'T KNOW. So many of my (mostly male) colleagues just gave this type of info willy nilly and I was just ... You have clearly never been followed in the street by a client.
Gotta say, after watching John and manly play through this I an honestly glad to watch a woman play it. Idk, sadly being a lady and fearing being stalked is more common, meaning you pick up on more of the little details and in this game the whole lingering fear of possibly being watched plays a huge part in the overall feeling.
I feel like Chilla's games seem to be made more towards the female audience somehow, but yeah, I think being a woman definitely makes it more relatable. I've been pestered by girls before but to make a horror game out of it would require a completely different atmosphere than this game has. Very interesting that being a man or a woman makes your experience with some games different
@@Pyoron it really is! Like, I am trans ftm but it sorta becomes second nature to anyone afab to alway look over your shoulder when heading home in the evenings or always be on the alert w strangers... sad, but it's a survival technique
@@ZombieOfMist I mean, I also have to do that as man, walking alone at night is dangerous to anyone, unfortunately since women are naturally easier targets, they gotta be more careful. It's ver sad that they gotta be so precautious but I guess the night is dangerous even for animals. My only gripe with this topic is when people are having a civil discussion and some angry woman comes along stating that your worries as a man are invalid cuz ooooh she has it sooo much worse, and then comes her little bandwagon to jump on you for daring to speak up about your issues. The comment section under that hotel horror game video was atrocious in some places...
I commented something similar on Sean's video but the notes in this brought back memories of a stalker I had in high school. We kept a file on him because of the same thing... He wasn't actually doing anything legally dangerous. He actually reached out to me a few years back to try and become friends. I blocked him. These are the scariest games because of how real they are.
I’ve watched a couple of people play this game and it always reminds me that being a barista is absolutely a skill. Has me sitting here like “it needs cold milk!!! Don’t steam the milk!!!”
This was on my mind all the time, working night shift in a 24-hour supermarket in college. We would get quite a mix of customers - some were polite, some were entitled, and some you defiantly didn't want getting a look at your name badge or where you parked your car. Ugh.
This game creeps me the fuck out hahaha (nervous laugh lol). I’ve had to take a restraining order out on an ex. Like the dev really really captured this scenario and the feelings spot on.
It can be… especially on popular shops because while you’re trying to work, you’re also thinking of multiple secondary stocking, cleaning, or management tasks that need to be done, sometimes keeping track of 2 or 3 drinks with different steps and ingredients asynchronously, all while your every movement is being closely tracked by store guests. On top of that, popular shops ask you to smile, remember customers and have meaningful interactions with them.
For someone who also had experience as coffee shop barista this game is so fun for me but uncomfortable sometimes cuz I had bad experiences through out a year with that job, and being harrassed (verbally) by customer is somehow tolerable and some of this like the customer asking for your number and your real name I could just smile my way out or ignore em but having a creepy workmate is something I can't take to the point I purposely requested to get a shift alternate to him but when our manager transfered to another branch ofcourse that guy bacame my shiftmate again and from that moment he never tried to hide his intention at all (sometimes he casually touching my shoulders) so after a few weeks I resigned cuz I tried to report him with our new manager but it seems the manager didn't care at all. So this game is so scary for me.
Chillas Art: “ok in this game you are a young woman working minimum wage job, and then you-“ Me: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! Chillas Art: “… I haven’t finished yet…”
I’m a barista and honestly yea it isn’t for everyone. I’ve seen lots of people try and I’m here to reassure people it really is ok. It’s a high stress area as well so never beat yourself up over it not being for you.
It's almost infuriating to me, I've watched like a dozen people play this and ONE of them has looked at the bus after getting out. What is so interesting about the ground and wall? XD XD XD Spoiler He's plastered to the bus window staring at you, that's why there's tinnitus sound.
You can tell Gab is a horror game pro, that lady with a stroller jumpscare barely phased her 😀 Also, I have a few suggestion what can Funahashi senpai go do to himself, but most of them are anatomically impossible
Been hoping to see your playthrough since I watched John Wolfe's and then Sean's. You're the first person that I've seen use the screwdriver on the the vent. I do love that you and Sean both commented on the difficulties of the job while playing. I also love that both you and Sean had the jumps are of the trash when you first saw it. 😁
Your energy playing this versus Sean's energy is fascinating. I also love that you guessed beforehand almost immediately who the stalker is while Sean was accusing every person he saw. I also love your insights in Japanese culture and day to day life when you play these.
I had a stalker. I foolishly ignored the red flags, befriended the person, then dated after several years. He did a lot to get to each of those steps, and he did awful and unspeakable things to me. It's scary how some people can manipulate and hide so well that everyone in the end, ends up fooled. I only recently started talking about and coming forward with my story and outing that person for what they are. Sadly, many people don't believe me and think I'm making it all up. Even though I gained nothing and it took me 10 years to get to this point. I've been single and isolated for over 6 years. People don't just disappear to fabricate a lie like that, primarily because if it was for "attention" or because "she's bitter" (so revenge), it would have made more sense to come forward right after the breakup if that was the case, which it's not. I gained nothing besides feeling free, telling my story and what was done to me. I hate that so many women, some men, disabled, lgbtqia+, and the bipoc community go through such traumatizing things. And then, so many people fight to keep society this way. It's soul-crushing, and it's terrifying out there. 😔
I can’t imagine having a stalker in real life, it must be terrifying…. story time: A month or two ago, I went to one of my classes early. One of my classmates (who I don’t know very well) came in a bit after me. My teacher got up, walked over to her, and said something like “if you need to leave class at any point because of the stress please feel free to.” she shyly said thank you & my teacher started walking back towards his desk, right by my seat. He turned back towards my classmate and asked “you told the police right? Stalking can be very serious.” She nodded and then looked embarrassed because there was no way I didn’t overhear that. I feel so incredibly bad for her. She’s either a Sophomore or Junior in high school ((grade 10 or grade 11)). I hope everyone out there is able to talk to the authorities and get as much protection as possible. Make sure you don’t share too much on social media because you never know who sees it. Stalking is so creepy & I’m really sorry that some of you have had experiences with it
I worked as a cocktail server. I had this one guy who would only come in on my shifts. He would follow me around like a puppy. I had told him multiple times to leave me alone. He was so creepy. He would literally wait outside the doors to go into the back for me too come out. The back was where the storage room, women's bathroom, kitchen and staff room were to explain. I think he even tried following me home one night. We were trained to drive around if we notice someone following us and if they stay behind us to go to the police station or go back to the work and call them letting them know what was going on. I was closer to the bar than the police station so I went back to work. One of my male coworkers met me outside and walked me back in and later followed me home to make sure I was safe. Later on we made a deal that he would pretend to be my boyfriend at work so the guy would leave me alone. I am now paranoid while driving when someone has been following me for to long.
SSR = Screen Space Reflections Basically, reflections calculated based on what's currently in the "screen space". You know those reflections that gradually disappear when you try to look directly at them? Or those that can't seem to reach the sides of the screen? Those are SSR. It's easy to notice them on large reflective surfaces like water or shiny floor (like in Elden Ring) :P
I worked at a bakery with an attached café for a short time and I really felt the stress you got when making the drinks. XD Creepy customers story: A regular, who lived close by and met one of my student coworkers on the bus. He showed her a scrapbook filled photos of bus drivers. He took those against their will. He also tended to be violent when you wanted to end the convo with him. She was so spooked, that he saw, where she got off the bus, that she took a longer bus route for a couple of weeks.
I've had that happen to me too Gab! I applied to be a prep cook, and then they were like oh but youre cute and friendly how about you be a server. I went along with it but it was awful. I just want to choppy.
If the woman lost her baby, it was probably due to the fact that she didn't put any warm clothes on it during winter or zoomed around so much it got yeeted out of the stroller.
I saw Jack play this game it gave me jumpscares..... when I saw Jack's vid the lady with the stroller scared the living soul out of me or should I say lady flash
oof that high pitched sound after you leave the bus,, (1:01:42) it's cus she's unconsciously aware that something is wrong. when you exit the bus you can see the stalker standing in the back, hands on the window while staring at you 💀
Chillas games are really interesting the storylines are good and also u can get the feel of how Japan is and since gab went there she feels like she can relate to the games 🥰 play more of these gab
this game pretty much captures the (either) stress/cathartic feeling of routine of working at a cafe and then slowly feeling and realizing the danger and fear of having a stalker/s (much worse if you don't know who they are) ruining that.
Haven’t been able to watch a lot of the longer series playthroughs due to college so it’s always a treat to see some one-off indie horrors. Especially chilla’s art games! Their games are so unsettling but I oddly find your playthroughs of their games to be very comforting to watch lol.
1:29:02 For those who wondering what's happening after the stalker gets you. The stalker is r@ping the girl. You can hear the girl screaming and the stalker moaning.
Yeah I realized that while watching Corykenshin play through the game. Idk if more people aren't talking about it because they don't realize or because they do and its a bit too real for them. I mean how many games go THAT far?
a example of a creep , when i was like 12 years old I went with my friends to peter piper pizza and an employee was passing by and drop his hat so I like a good person picked it up for him and gave it to him, the next thing I know he keep following me the whole time we were there and even come up to me and ask if I had a boyfriend :´v Anyway love this game and absolutely every girl or every single human being worst nightmare :D
I'm really enjoying the editing ahahah the sound effects make it so much entertaining. And I'm sorry but your mess ups at your restaurant job was funny, I could also never do it! Your "are you trying to tell me something? Is that like a Matcha latte dance?" comment was great xD Really enjoyed this one, but definitely creepy and too close to reality ahh! I would be soo out of there as soon as I saw the photograph of me! No ways I'm working at a place that doesn't even have security.
These kinds of horrible situations just stuck with you for a long time or forever. Being stalked and the stalker actually knows where you live. It happened to me when I was 15. My cousin and I were being stalked by an older guy. My cousin and I used to go for a night walk near our house. Then he started following us, smiling at us. I remember his creepy face, and it disgusts me. As the day's went by he kept coming closer and closer. The cousin and I still went for night walks, but having some sort of defence stuff with us. One night I remember it so clearly like it was yesterday. He bought his bike and was following us through the roads and dirt paths. My cousin and I ran in fields and even hid but he eventually found us. We ran to the road, near street lights to look for help. That's when that guy said he wanted to be our friend and actually started begging us to be his friend. As he was begging he bend down and held my ankle and my thigh. We pushed him and ran towards a nearby building with a security guard. The creepy guy ran away, but as we followed the security guard, we saw from a distance that some guy's were in his small house, shirtless, drinking. That's when we realised how unsafe we were from everyone. Cousin and I were 15-16 at the time. We don't about that incident but it differently gives us chills to our core. We were stupid and naive at the time. But if we think about it, then the world is too big and you aren't safe anywhere. We did came back home safe and then to our horror we saw the guy right next door casually walking towards us. It was enough for my cousin and I, we were scared and we told our brother's that we were being followed for a week by a guy. Our brother's in rage went out to look for him and a neighborhood lady came out of her home and told us about the creepy guy. That he was a married man and has kid's, he comes to this neighbour at night drunk and that he isn't a good person. Our brother's sent us home and actually talked with that creepy guy, warned him or whatever happened between them. Thankfully the guy was gone from our lives. I was just a little kid then. I'm 24 now, but it scares me so much thinking that I'm still a little girl in this big world.
Since watching Seán play this, I've wondered about the woman with the baby. When she comes into the store she's seemingly crying and without the child. The TV screen at the end talks about a missing person, what if the baby went missing 🤔 creepy man taking kids now too?
I used to be a barista at Starbucks...and it was always so stressful.....and yes, I ended up leaving because I wasn't cut out for it. Seeing you play this, makes me happy just because of the fact that it is such a stressful job. It's so hard to be in that field!
Chillart games never disappoint, never know what you're going to get but you know it will be spooky. Also i don't know if someone already said it during the stream or you figured it out yourself but the backdoor always being open was probably because the boss guy always left that way, im guessing he is allergic to closing doors behind him.
It took me so long to finish watching this game being played. This particular one is so well-made, and you're so fun to watch (and do really well with distracting from the legit fears), but man if doesn't hit on so many of my big phobias. It's even worse for me because I worked at Starbucks. It was very literally the last place I worked/where my phobia formed.
1:08:50 hearing this talk just made me thinking, how didnt anyone think about making some horror game about modeling and fashion industry? like the neon demon movie vibe idk
the difference in gameplay between Gab & Jack is funny and amazing Gab goes back and forth to the list of ingredients while prepping the drink meanwhile Sean just guesses it and stresses tf out lol
I was jack as a barista lol I didn’t know how to make anything and was too scared to ask. If I took an extra second to look at the recipe I got yelled at by management so eventually I just faked it till I made it, or got fired which was my case. I should’ve just quit that place was awful and had a toxic positivity attitude while simultaneously talking shit constantly about everyone.
TBH, I use your Chilla’s playlist to fall asleep because you’re so calm during most if not all of them and it just relaxes me to hear you explore and respect everything you see. (: (I do fall asleep to most of your videos now because I enjoy watching you a lot LOL) sorry if this is weird
I enjoyed hearing your Japanese Gab! Also, I laughed at the part with the dancing half naked guy because when you were streaming I came in on that and my response was what did I come into lmao.

Another indie horror Japanese game and it’s a Night Shift! Great. I cannot wait to experience for myself a night at a mall/coffee shop. I think ghost will not be my scare, just my introvert character to be sacred in front of the living clients xd. White mocha and matcha favourite drinks too💚🤍💀

as a server (waitress) who gets so stressed and feels unappreciated, hearing gabs respects for people in the food industry and servers really warms my heart ❤❤
Definitely an understated game. Janky and derpy af but the horror and realism really hits home... this is the right way to highlight a real problem. Entertaining but at the same time... haunting.
I'm very impressed by Chilla's ability to show the ugly side of humanity as well as real life problems and fears in a game. I wanted to leave some information about what people can do if they are being followed or stalked because maybe it'll be helpful to someone. First, all reports or claims of being followed or stalked should absolutely be taken seriously by everyone, including the authorities (i.e. your boss, the police, etc). If this is not the case, and the people listening to the claim/report fail to open an investigation or to at least provide protections and support, then that is the fault of those people and a broken system, not the victim. A combination of many factors (i.e. culture, country, regional area, etc.) determine how people and the authorities handle a claim/report of following or stalking as well as how they punish such crimes. For example, in the USA the penalties for following or stalking vary from state to state for one thing. In general, it's a good idea for people to familiarize themselves with their local laws and reporting procedures. For instance, in California, where I live, if a person thinks someone is following them, they can call the police right away, the first time it happens. They do not have to wait for that person to commit a crime. Stalking is defined as “willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly” following or “willfully and maliciously” harassing someone and by making a credible threat to harm that person. If the same person, on more than one occasion, follows you or harasses you and you feel threatened and unsafe, you can report that person. Stalking is Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $1,000, and/or imprisonment in a county jail for up to a year (Stop Street Harassment, Know Your Rights: Street Harassment and the Law, p. 4).
The apartment at the beginning looks exactly like the apartment I had when living in Sapporo. While it's incredibly convenient, they're usually far more expensive than they're worth and also, super super cramped. Tiny, no room at all. Literally used to cut vegetables on my bed because I had no counter space. But seeing in this video almost made me miss it. Almost. Maybe I just missed Japan more lol
im morbidly curious to see a female play this game, it just register as "yea, creepy dude is here again". This is literally life for most female retail employees, hell for mot women.
I was finally able to watch the whole game thanks to you. I petered out on other people's videos, but I always enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing your enjoyment (and your reactions) to all your games! Years ago a lady I knew was attacked while on a run (in a relatively safe town) and put in a coma for weeks. Almost exactly a year later he killed another 17 year-old girl while she was at work. They finally tracked him down and he was living in the roof of our local convention center. Stay safe, friends. Look out for each other as much as you are able to 💜

Oof maybe you need new friends haha. That's super invalidating, it's definetly not easy and everyone is different so what the heck?
I love to watch Japanese games with Evelyn, she gives them a lot of context that I'm sure missing
Yeah I think I'd be very confused playing a Chilla's Art game on my own

God that’s awful! I’m sorry you had to go through all that
That's terrible! I'm glad you're safe now!

Gab: *leans* 👁👁

The perpetrator is sick in the head and doesn't care who they hurt for self-gain.- or can't understand the reality of what they're doing, as seems to be the case with this guy, he's deluded like in the movie Joker.
the judgemental girl said that to her friend too, just because she's overweight.
Yeah
might be one of my favorite chilla's art game, because wow the way they nail how it feels like to be a woman working in retail and listening to horrible shit from men like what's your number? what's your name? and keep pestering you is so spot on lol
@@aliyahl112 i was literally thinking this as i read ops comment
Super late on responding but I guess I theorize that, since the baby didn't have clothes on when you first run into them, I thought that maybe the baby caught a cold and passed away. Or yeah maybe she was zooming too fast and got hit by a car :o
I think the baby died from neglect, it's very cold and the baby was clearly not dressed for the weather
He continued to harass her for a few weeks but any time she tried to report it she got met with either "Sorry, nothing we can do for you." Or "You should be flattered someone wants to stalk you."
He finally fucked off after our brother lent her his huge af dog and it tried to attack him when she took it out on a walk
Stalking is fr very uncomfy, and Id wish itd be taken more seriously by poloce and all (for other's sake).
Your brother’s dog is a saint icl, I wish I could have seen the look on that creeps face
I’m glad that he stopped following her though, I hope she is doing better now
I currently work at a public facing job (library) and I have also worked retail.
(He's since gotten consultation and regularly works through said condition, which is awesome!)
He would in fact go to Starbucks and order a cup of milk.
About to text him like "finally you've gotten some representation in gaming" 🤣
Getting hit on as a retail/food service worker though... ugh... it's such a trap!
Fk that boss.
""irrelevant"" FFS
oh! arfid?
Hmmm... don't take it the wrong way. But severe food aversions and a restrictive diet may be a sign of autism. + the nerdy personality.

This game made me ridiculously uncomfortable. I had planned to run down to the store and grab a few things, but now I don't think I can.
the milkman is watching.
Nobody seems to pick up that there are at least two stalkers...the two creepy texts don't make sense from the same person even if poorly translated. Only the phone guy is violent about it though.
I think maybe the guy outside(the milk man)is one of the stalkers,he kept staring at MC from outside and also he left a picture of her
I thought the same thing because both of the stalkers look different, and both had texts saying completely different things! Let's just say they are both creepy as heck! 😅
see that, i thought so to but thought i was wrong

Spoilers:
for people that didnt notice, there is actually two different "stalkers".
the first stalker is the long tall guy with the creepy face, who we are introduced with at the beginning that we helped return his phone. we see him after we get off the bus, and also when he comes into the coffee shop once and doesnt buy anything and just sits the whole time and then leaves.
the second stalker is the man in the hoodie. he is the one that creepily stands outside the store windows as we talk with the old man at the register. he also then comes in and orders pastries and a bunch of milk, and sits in the blind spot of the store and leaves the photo of us on the table. it is then revealed that HE is the one who has been living in the back of the store.
so in conclusion to clear things up, the phone guy stalker, is the one that actually physically tries to attack us and depending on what ending you get, murders us; and the second stalker, hoodie dude, is the milk guy that was snapping pics of us and living in the store, but doesnt actually physically harm us.
you can tell they are two different men bc 1. their faces are very different (hoodie guy is much younger looking and generally has a nicer looking face) 2. phone stalker guy and also the one that jumpsacres us at the closing sign (and eventually attacks us) is like 6'6" whereas hoodie milk guy is only around 5'6". you can tell the height difference by comparing when each walk into the cafe and walk past the bookcases by the door! 3. their clothes
Anyways-just thought i'd share this since i dont think i've watched one lets player who actually came to this realization that there were two different stalkers!

Anime
It's just gross that some creepy people do this shit, like let other people have their lives
今回の作品は心霊ではなくて人間の怖さを前面に押し出したものでしたね、ストーカーは本当に恐ろしい…
The content of this game was not a psychic but a human fear, the stalker is really scary ...
Ugh.
*Definitely, my dear.
This game creeps me the fuck out hahaha (nervous laugh lol). I’ve had to take a restraining order out on an ex. Like the dev really really captured this scenario and the feelings spot on.
I love how Seàn was so scared throughout most of the game but Evelien just giggles throughout
being a barista seems stressful
I think the game chose this environment deliberately, to make it more tense
It can be… especially on popular shops because while you’re trying to work, you’re also thinking of multiple secondary stocking, cleaning, or management tasks that need to be done, sometimes keeping track of 2 or 3 drinks with different steps and ingredients asynchronously, all while your every movement is being closely tracked by store guests. On top of that, popular shops ask you to smile, remember customers and have meaningful interactions with them.
Detective walks out
Gab: don't die
Detective: dies
👁️👄👁️
It's both sad and terrifying how real and grounded the story in the game is and how there's no good ending.
Chillas Art: “ok in this game you are a young woman working minimum wage job, and then you-“
Me: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Chillas Art: “… I haven’t finished yet…”
I've been waiting for you to play this since seeing Jack play it!
SAME!!
☺️ same
Same!!!
Same!
Same!
I cackled so hard at the guy leaning back and Gab imitating 😆
I’m a barista and honestly yea it isn’t for everyone. I’ve seen lots of people try and I’m here to reassure people it really is ok. It’s a high stress area as well so never beat yourself up over it not being for you.
Gab always coming through with the endings. Love watching you play these types of games!
It's almost infuriating to me, I've watched like a dozen people play this and ONE of them has looked at the bus after getting out. What is so interesting about the ground and wall? XD XD XD
Spoiler
He's plastered to the bus window staring at you, that's why there's tinnitus sound.
Ooo thank you for this
For those like me who missed it as it is on screen for only a few frames here's a time stamp for the stalker in the bus staring out: 1:01:44.
You can tell Gab is a horror game pro, that lady with a stroller jumpscare barely phased her 😀
Also, I have a few suggestion what can Funahashi senpai go do to himself, but most of them are anatomically impossible
I love that Gab always closes the door behind her whenever she walks in or out of a room.
lmao was not expecting that "Oh No! our table! it's broken" 🤣🤣 gosh you are the best lol
Your energy playing this versus Sean's energy is fascinating. I also love that you guessed beforehand almost immediately who the stalker is while Sean was accusing every person he saw.
I also love your insights in Japanese culture and day to day life when you play these.
"Sean was accusing everyone he saw." lol
Watching both Gab and Jack play this game makes me think that both of them will balance each other out if they're working on the same shift together.
Loved the gameplay! I like how you and Sean both did this gameplay and seeing it from both sides!
Whooooooa Chilla's Art looks INCREDIBLE
SSR = Screen Space Reflections
Basically, reflections calculated based on what's currently in the "screen space".
I saw Jack play this game it gave me jumpscares..... when I saw Jack's vid the lady with the stroller scared the living soul out of me or should I say lady flash
she gets me every time even when I expect her
oof that high pitched sound after you leave the bus,, (1:01:42)
it's cus she's unconsciously aware that something is wrong. when you exit the bus you can see the stalker standing in the back, hands on the window while staring at you 💀
The little edits make this so good lol, helps with cutting tension!
Baby lady scared the absolute SHIT out of me😂 my body took a screenshot😂
Now when you say it out loud, i just get so uncomfortable😨
YAY!!!! I have been patiently waiting for your playthrough of this game so thank you for making my day!
I just had a really stressful day working (I work part time in a small café) and this game represents all my fears
a example of a creep , when i was like 12 years old I went with my friends to peter piper pizza and an employee was passing by and drop his hat so I like a good person picked it up for him and gave it to him, the next thing I know he keep following me the whole time we were there and even come up to me and ask if I had a boyfriend :´v
Anyway love this game and absolutely every girl or every single human being worst nightmare :D
I was a waitress and my god, customers are so rude lol I don’t miss it and I’m just happy to be a web developer now 😂
I'm really enjoying the editing ahahah the sound effects make it so much entertaining.
The way gabs treats the only nice customer as like a saint is so accurate
Someone else said maybe the stalker hurt the baby since the mother was rude to the MC, so he wanted to get payback?
@@graceclare4224 that's actually a good hypothesis and does make sense
I used to be a barista at Starbucks...and it was always so stressful.....and yes, I ended up leaving because I wasn't cut out for it.
Seeing you play this, makes me happy just because of the fact that it is such a stressful job. It's so hard to be in that field!
Chillart games never disappoint, never know what you're going to get but you know it will be spooky.
Also i don't know if someone already said it during the stream or you figured it out yourself but the backdoor always being open was probably because the boss guy always left that way, im guessing he is allergic to closing doors behind him.
If you take out the creepy stalker element, the game has a really cozy feel.
I need an endless mode for this game where you get to keep making coffee and being berated by your manager till forever
1:08:50 hearing this talk just made me thinking, how didnt anyone think about making some horror game about modeling and fashion industry? like the neon demon movie vibe idk
the difference in gameplay between Gab & Jack is funny and amazing
Gab goes back and forth to the list of ingredients while prepping the drink
meanwhile Sean just guesses it and stresses tf out lol
Our stalker straight up looks like an Innsmouther which only intensifies my discomfort and fear😅
omg he does!
I would love a full game just working on a Cafe like that. I'd never do it irl because I'd be awful not remembering things and cursing at costumers but in the game it'd be chill
yay gab x chillas art again! I love their games a ton.
*when you forget it’s a horror game and just worried about making coffee* I wouldn’t have piece of mind that the dude didn’t die. I’d be more scared knowing that he could come back anytime
Another indie horror Japanese game and it’s a Night Shift! Great. I cannot wait to experience for myself a night at a mall/coffee shop. I think ghost will not be my scare, just my introvert character to be sacred in front of the living clients xd. White mocha and matcha favourite drinks too💚🤍💀
I was so excited to see this notification!! I think you might like the game Unpacking! I watched simplynailogical play it and the whole time I was like "this screams gab" at least style wise. It's super cute!
Been a viewer since 2017 it's awesome that you're still around making contents. Makes me happy :)
as a server (waitress) who gets so stressed and feels unappreciated, hearing gabs respects for people in the food industry and servers really warms my heart ❤❤
