Surely the ESC cliche song is due for an update to be “Love, Love, Peace, Peace, Female Empowerment”. Be proud of our warrior s!sters.

Yeah... Regarding the "love and peace" themes - Ukraine did just the opposite and won that year, it was wonderfully ironic. 🤣

Once your break is over, you should react to Austria's 1977 entry. It's one of the earliest troll acts in Eurovision. You should definitely look up the lyrics first, though.

React to the other song they've made: "The story of Eurovision" also those sexy ladies refer to Poland's entry in 2013 which was basically soft porn on stage 😂😂😂

Sweden really know how to host.... that's for sure. Petra has become a Eurovision legend, love her. She and Mans also did a FANTASTIC Broadway style number for the interval of semi-final 2 that year, called "What Is Eurovision?" that went through the origins and history of the contest - for me, it was way more entertaining and perhaps because it wasn't in the final it just didn't get noticed so much. Worth a watch Jake ;) th-cam.com/video/v6qSt8Qp9ck/w-d-xo.html Please :)

Oh! And fan fact, that year a song about war was the winner. Jamala with the song 1944, she sang in Crimean and talked about the Crimean war.
