    I would love to see a video comparing Tendril and Decompose with GI Joes. I imagine it would have been cool to be a kid and have this big kaiju monsters to attack a joe base.

    The only Inhumanoid figure I ever owned back in the day was Redsun....or Redlen. I am not sure now as looking at them both today I can't tell if I had the lighter one or the darker one! Also, I did not even know what it WAS that I had and I didn't find out until recently.
    I was 11 at the time I believe. I was well into GI Joe and Transformers and He-Man before that. But, once in a while my Mom would come home with some other odd toy...maybe in an effort to break me out of my other toy line obsessions. Well, I must have just taken it out of the box without paying any attention to the box, bio card, etc. Then, for years I had this light piping evil looking "tree" bouncing around the house and while I thought the light piping was pretty cool I never really paid any attention to what it actually was. As far as I were concerned it were some cheap toy my Mom picked up on a whim for me.
    I never forgot that weird looking tree. Now at 46 I know what it is and I was able to find one (Redsun) at a cheap price. It will be the only Inhumanoid figure for my collection, but I am glad to have both found out WHAT it was and have found one to own again!

    Inhumanoids was the boldest cartoon of 1986 as a kid. Had a D'Compose from 86-2004 until it's head fell off.

    No one needs hook when you are hooker.......😅🤣... I love your work, edition specifically the description behind each individual toy and line. Thanks for sharing with us . I even use your videos as guide.

    Seeing Herc's head makes me want to use it to make a Luis Litt figure from "Suits"... Hmm, who could I use to make Harvey Specter and Donna?

    Love it. Makes me wonder why Hasbro went with such large human figures, especially considering that smaller figures would push the scale of the large monsters. Always seemed like they should have been the scale of Joes or at the most Illuminaries.

      Maybe they got over-confident with the USS Flagg and thought "bigger is better!" It's pretty cool to think the Inhumanoids toys are actually in scale with GI Joe though. Maybe I'll have Tendril emerge from the ocean to attack the Flagg one day. :D

      After being obsessed with TF almost all my life I'd better be able to spot some cheeky references!
      Awesome reviews, by the way. I've just recently discovered the Inhumanoids, the show's pretty intense for a '80s cartoon trying to sell toys first and foremost. I wish the franchise was relevant enough to get some new toys, an SH Figuarts D'Compose would be pretty sublime.

      Michael Mercy not at all lol my little action figure world is just different :) many of my "villains" are quite virtuous. canonical blasphemy perhaps but imagination is what action figures have always been to me. dude, thanks for your replies seriously. I don't do social media anything and commenting on your videos is my first foray into such and Well, just thanks.

    It's just uncanny how clips from the show perfectly compliment the points that you're making in the review. What kind of black magic is Mercy conjuring up for these videos?
    And wow, a suit that can withstand 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit? To put that into perspective, rock melts at about 1,300 F (volcanic lava), and iron melts at 2,786 F (the likely temperature of the molten metal that liquefied Arnold in T2). There are so many Hooker jokes about a "burning sensation" that could be made, but I'll just leave them to your imagination.

    • @MichaelMercy
      @MichaelMercy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, those old shows certainly speak to me. :D
      Wow! Those suits might not even melt in Mount Doom! You'd think Auger's suit would have been the one called Hooker, since it's the pimped-out purple one. :D

    Hey, too bad show had some serious potential. Plot and theme a little to dark, complex for kids?

      And the humour probably went over their heads too.
