Gixxer known for reliability. Don't put wrong information here. I own 2017 first gen first batch Gixxer SF Fi ABS model. I have driven more 90k kms. Covered from Chennai to Kelakkam,kerala within day. Excellent comfort for rider not pillion. Mileage nalla irukum. Pick-up and highway performance vera level. Antha time no bikes can match the performance of doing triple digits speed continuous for long rides. Suzuki Jet Cooling System worked well on this bike (That time only available in SF model). Gear hard but rpm konjam yethi pota nalla vizhum. Corning & high speed stability excellent. Ithu varaikum naan athigama maintenance ku selavu pannathu illa. 3k kms interval la Engine oil & oil filter change pannuven. Engine work ethuvum pannala clutch plate kuda change pannala. Kala kala kola kolanu lam sound varathu. Antha bike nalla therinja bike mechanics than mukkiyam. Because, Velila neraya mechanics Suzuki na yosipanga.😊

Cause there have been multiple reports of engine vibe issues on the new sf 250s. There's a whole thread in team bhp.
@@sk0611 around 150 bikes of 250cc had that issue 2 years back and all that we recalled and replaced. That was only for that particular lot.
@@vishnujm242 as far as I know Suzuki recalled around 150 bikes and replaced them but the issue is more prevalent and it starts after 6000km. You better look up the thread that I mentioned cause the issue were present in other batches of the bikes too. Either way those are MY 2021 to 2022 bikes. I hope the new bikes are devoid of this issues.
@@sk0611 yes I have read that thread too, it was mentioned in that article itself that the bike could be one of the bikes from that lot. I'm from MadrasGixxersRiders club and I haven't heard any vibrations issues so far from any of our community members.

Ne solura maari kola kola nu laam aagathu, oil laam leak aagathu. Ishtathuku edhachu olaratheenga. Design is subject, but you can't say bad about its build quality and reliability. Suzuki engine is known for its reliability and it still holds true in case of Gixxer

Well said but wrong information. I have 2015 gixxer ran 80000 kms without any engine problem except for oil and filter change once in 3000 kms. No clutch plate changes or any other things. Changed sprocket kit 3 time and 2nd set of tyres running. Only once brake pads changed. Best mileage also around 50 when ridden below 60 to 65. No single problem till now for the engine and mechanicals. The only problem is pilion seat comfort is -100℅ just 5mins a pilion can ride. 😮

Got the first gen Gixxer in Jan 1st 2015 have clocked 1.2L kms so far... Biggest problem in that first gen if frequent chain sprocket wear off... Leak of engine oil in the first gen bike due to a bad design, poor headlight power. Long turning radius, Expensive service cost. But still has that initial torque... awesome high speed stability... Good rider comfort.. tall pillions would suffer on long distance rides...
Long turning radius?? Totally wrong... bcoz it has the Wheelbase of 1330 mm same as Fzs ...All other bikes especially pulsars have 1363 mm wheel base which is the highest n longest turning radius...Even Hornet is 1345-55 mm wheelbase ... little longer turning radius...

Bro, 2015 la gixxer naked version purchase panen, 50K km driven. Neenga sona mari gear sensor cable la engine oil leak aguthu. Other than that not even a single issue. 8 years la brake pad mathunathu ila .brake super. Mileage punch drive la 43 normal 45 long 50. Top speed 119, Road grip fantastic. Less vibration compared with yamaga FZ 2.0. 4th 5th gear la kuda nalla torque feel pana mudium. Still I am not convinced to replace my bike with any of the existing bikes under 200cc. Last ah 1.5 hours continuously driven at full throttle coimbatore to salem. Bike engine over heat agi auto off achi. Thats all

Please ask long time users of gixxer to know the value of this bike.. personally i have a gixxer sf fi 2018. 80 k kms crossed, still the engine feels like new, no fi issues so far, no electrical issuses, even there is no vibrations or rattling sounds from the fairing so far. I don't know how you got the idea that gixxer is unreliable.

I bought 2016 model Gixxer but before I used Apache 160
I love the design but the build quality and spare cost is very high I bought the model front disc and back drum
Front disc pad cost around 200 but we need original drum pad for the back brake bcoz if u use local drum pad it's not reliable the cost of back drum brake is 450 it's ridiculous and I have driven just 42000 km engine noise and need to rebore the engine so I sold it.
But performance wise good spare wise it's so costly
When I used Apache 160 it's spare and service cost is very affordable compare to Gixxer

I also have 2017 bs4 Gixxer sf special Edition runed more than 1 lack kms still now it's owned stock piston also stock clutch plate only replaced engine oil tyre break bads. Only changed head value timing chain after 50k for own interest not necessary. millage around 45-50kmpl top speed 132kmph. It's compared to other brands low maintenance bike also feel like new.

Gixxerம் சரி, வேறு சில பைக் கும் சரி, Rear Seat மிக உயரமாக இருப்பதால் 5.4" இருப்பவர்கள் கூட சுலபமாக காலை தூக்கி உட்கார முடிவதில்லை. என்னென்னவோ Research செய்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் 5 - 5 1/2 இருப்பவர்கள் கூட சிரமமில்லாவர்கள் உட்காருமாறு ஏன் Design செய்வதில்லை ? செய்தால் விற்பனை அதிகரிக்கும்.
