One of the best Festivals are around an hour with the car from my home... Its called the Wonderland... Waldfrieden is the place ive talking about... Its mean the 'peace of the forest'...

One year ago I was not loving myself very much. At all. Then one day I had enough and decided to go for a walk. Started at 1km/day. Progressed to 10. Not sure how, but I started listening to techno -- finding the pace and energy paced me perfectly as I started a long walk back to something approaching happy. I stuck with it. Marching around my little coastal town like a man possessed. Through a fuck hot summer and a shit cold winter I've walked and EDM was a big part of why I looked forward to it every day. The day after Xmas, my dad complained of a sore neck. Over the next six months I was really scared I was going to lose him. Kept walking to techno. Major breakdown in relationship with my brother and his wife. Kept walking, kept listening. Whatever came my way... I've kept walking and kept widening my EDM playlist. Plot twist. I'm a 52 y/o guy with a history of depression, anxiety, untreated ADHD and god knows what else. I'm single, far from my tribe and I've isolated myself, convinced myself that I'm incapable of forming lasting intimate relationships. But that's changing. WIth every step, AND EVERY BEAT and EVERY DROP I'm starting to fucking love life again. To love myself again. To feel I can love again. To feel I might just know love again. Stay with me. So, after watching some festival videos -- Tomorrowland, AMF, Defqon1, etc. I'm frothing to go to a big gig. Turns out in my area, there's a very underground psytrance community and I'm playing the sleuth tryna find my way in. I have to dance. I have to share the energy, the smiles, the JUST GOOD FUKN vibes. I watched another of Blazy's sets last night. And I'm so stoked to add this and more like it to my playlist Last time I did that was over 20 years ago H20 -- held in a waterpark under the flightpath of an international airport, for you JHB Saffa's out there. My soul is leading me. I'm done with the drama. The caring WTF. I'm in search of my tribe. My old tribe or a new tribe, don't care. I'm excited about this. I haven't been excited in a sustained way for as long as I can remember. Seeing these beautiful people gives me so much hope. Earth willing, I will make my way to Universo Parallelo somewhere on this adventure.. Here's what I want to leave you with. Maybe right now you're struggling with something. It might be pale grey, it might be darker than a Sith heart. Whatever it is. Turn it over to the music. Find your vibe, put your headphones on, turn the lights down and let it carry you. I mean, really surrender into it. Let it be your focus, your meditation, your smile-making-heart-fixing, uplifting souldance medication. I'm told to grow up and play by the rules. I tried. It sucked.
