Hi guys! I hope you're okay these days. I wanted to say you I really loved all your videos about MEN1, never felt that represented. I think having real resources like this is really important, they are made in an empathic way... I'm really tired of academic papers. You've made me feel less alone. You guys are awesome Hope you're doing well!!!
Thank you for like being able to like articulate your emotions in a like fun & honest way to like help people understand; without like saying 'like' every like other word. You've restored my faith in young adults despite what you've got ;o). You're beautiful people x
So touched to see you guys again! I was a close friend of your Dads and I knew you both as small children. I miss him so much and have often thought about you both and how you are doing. 11:25 So sorry to know you both carry the same condition and so so impressed at the positive way you are handling it and sharing this encouragement to others. Hope your voice is wonderful! I was so shocked when I saw you on the voice last night. Would love to get in touch with your mum but I don’t have contact details, please say hi to her from me Tony C xx
Thank you for putting this perspective out there. My daughter was diagnosed about a year and a half ago at the age of 13 and your words have helped me understand her perspective, and my own a bit more. You're right, people say things and ask questions from a "good place," but they don't always come across that way. Perhaps stupid questions are a side effect of MEN as well. ;-) Get well soon!
Thanks Mike - I'm glad this helped you out a little bit, with understanding your daughter's position, as well as your own. Haha I think that's very true! Maybe they should put "you will also be asked stupid questions" on the information leaflets to do with MEN. Hope the both of you are doing okay!
Even when it's not a genetic cancer, the "regular" cancer is not a one off event and can come back at pretty much any time, any where. We think about it all the time. Therefore, I like the way you summed it up. Just be kind to everyone you meet who is ill. I once told your dad when he was ill, "just because you're in pain doesn't mean you have to be a pain." I certainly remembered this with my diagnosis and when I was in pain. Such a little piece of you all in my heart! How about this annoying phrase, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"......would love to hear your comment on that one:) From Kat astrophe
Thanks for explaining your condition guys. I wasn't aware of it even though I do a lot of charity stuff for cancer research uk and maggies. BTW Joel can you control your sister please. She's all diva esq on this with her potty mouth. LOL

The best siblings in the world! I am proud to be represented as an 8 year old in this video.
