- Today’s video is all about Perler Bead Sorting! Ever have something specific you would like to organize around the house but it never seems to get done because you know it is going to be time consuming? Today we finally decided to sit down and organize our perler beads by colour. I usually buy Perler beads in bulk because they are much cheaper, however that means that they come in these big bins all mixed together. Sorting perler beads makes it much easier to organize craft projects as well as know if you have enough inventory to complete a project. It is also VERY visually appealing organization.

So fun to watch! I don't have beads. But years ago we sorted rainbow loom elastics. And more recently the Lego Friends...we had 23 sets all together. We needed to sort them so we could sell them.
New subscriber and I'm also in Canada. So I plan to binge watch all your videos.

Perler beads are a craft favourite in this house! The bulk bins are soo much cheaper than buying individual bags but the kids make such a mess when they dig for the colours they want. This is a very satisfying solution lol Thanks for watching, always appreciated :)
LOVE this!! How long did it take real-time for you to organize that much?! Looks like you have a great system, and I'm sure being able to group a bunch on the needles really helps when you start to go cross-eyed from all of the colors! LOL
Around 14 hours with breaks and I'd say about 6 solid hours of sorting! I definitely have sorted a bunch in the past just by hand before I figured out the toothpick system. They are a pain to sort but so worth it- it looks so pretty lol. Thanks for watching!!

too long lol, about 16 hours total but we took frequent breaks.
Are these 2.5 mm beads or 5 mm beads?
5 mm - standard Perler beads. Do they make 2.5mm Perler Beads? I have never seen them before!
@@acleanhousewithmuddyboots4572 yeah they do make 2.5 mm ones. I was planning on getting this bead box and wanted to make sure they were 5 mm so I can buy the pegboards accordingly :)
