Butterflies can make you a fortune.
Nicholas Lyndhurst, the actor who plays Rodney first became a household name playing a character in a sitcom.called Butterflies.
It got him the job on OFAH.
And made him a very wealthy man.
In future episodes whenever Del Boy just says hi to Denzel, Denzel suspects that Del is wanting something from him that could get him into trouble.
I love how the lad laughs at references he clearly has no idea about... I'm British and I don't even know some references from these earlier episodes...but I laugh too 😂
Definitely an age thing, I get most now probably after looking the few up that I didn’t get such as the Barratts joke in Friday the 14th

Imagine spending the whole day chasing a butterfly, going through graves, the roof and the water and when you finally catch it, its taken away from you in a few seconds lol.
Those aren't poached eggs, they're "egg and soldiers".
The egg is a boiled egg in the shell, with the yolk remaining soft, the "soldiers" are pieces of toast cut up for dipping into the yolk.
Liking the set up, great episode also. Really hope Open AllHours hits the channel in the near future. Enjoy
They're not eating poached eggs, they're eating boiled eggs. Americans couldn't eat boiled eggs anyway. You don't have egg cups. Poached eggs and boiled eggs are both cooked/boiled in water but one is cooked in its shell in the water (boiled eggs) and the other is broken directly into the water out of its shell (poached). There are also poached egg pans with separate compartments for each egg in which each egg is broken into one compartment and steamed/boiled.

Strange how you've mentioned eggs.
Of late, I've developed a real intolerance to them. Yesterday I was ill all day after having them, yet I've eaten them all my life, never had issues - but the last few times I've had them, they've made me feel terrible.
I think as you get older (im 44 now) you develop intolerances to things. it's all very strange how our bodies change.
Anyway, great watching OFAH with you (again) mate. Your wife seems to be really getting into it more now too.
Are you going to do reactions to OFAH with another family member in the future too? (I can tell you can't get enough of OFAH 😉) 😂😂.
I have to agree though - its the best comedy ever, and my all time favourite.

The ending was funny and all with Denzel but makes no sense, why would he send his brothers round to see Del, as if he was that desperate and angry about wanting his money, instead he just skates by them and says nothing with no reaction, just taking Del's word he would get his money later - he should have stopped and demanded payment there and then - of course it makes no sense but I guess we needed a funny moment!
Another classic episode.
But, while the comedy is gold, your new seating positions are not.
Reaction channels are not only about reliving memories but also seeing the joy in peoples faces, as they respond to things they love for the first time.
This is impossible if you are placed at opposite ends of the screen.
Only fools and Horses work, but the new format doesn't....
You would love poached eggs if you like fried ones.
