@@TheKlore I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but tbh even in her recent performance you could see her lack of enthusiasm. My best bet is that this is a TRP trick or even if it's not it's not like she is any closer to the debut six spot. The most it is giving is some attention making her stand out from other avg trainees.
@@hobihobi7 tbh i don't watch survival shows at all. this video popped up and when i saw people negative reaction i could not stop myself but relate to her. This is basic teenage mood swings.
@@TheKlore Then I don't think you have any right to comment bad. I too am very sensitive to the mental health issues and currently suffering through the same shame frustuation and anger I should have been able to relate to her. But I couldn't. It's not like I never had thoughts on quiting but having thought and saying it outloud that too in front of a camera broadcasting worldwide is different. Half of me believes it it a trp trick other half believes and sympathises with her situation. Either way in the k pop industry infamous for breaking idols her situation is not fit to debut in anyway. If you do see the episode you will also that she had just straight up given up on herself and in this situation i don't think anyone would vote for a girl that is not even trying to get the position others would kill for in a company as popular as hybe.
Ppl she's young yes but you can't possibly think there won't be any criticism to her actions just cause she's young. This is a SURVIVAL show girls get judged to debut the mentors r doing their job. Rather than telling them to go easy on her we should be doing that nd encourage her. Maybe just maybe she'll gain confidence.
I feel bad for her... she is young, the criticism crushed her and she lost her confidence. I hope she learns from this and debut soon. Her salsa was so good.
It's a survivor show guys. Don't take it personally and remember, she's really young. These shows should stop choosing so young contestants because it's obvious they are going to suffer from the pressure. It's just so wrong to ask that much from people who just don't even mature yet.
I don't know about making her look like a villain. There's definitely shady editing, don't get me wrong, and both the judges and the pds have obvious favorites, but my golden rule considering 'evil editing' is always "did they say it or not" and Iris did say, both in this challenge and the last that she just wants to be eliminated, that she'll be eliminated anyways, stuff to that tone. I think she's just adjusting really poorly to survival programs as a whole, as are a few others (Wonhee and Youngseo in particular). She probably had confidence issues to begin with and the lack of time to prepare + the stress seems to be really getting to her but in the end, debuting is not going to be much different from this, specially under a Hybe subsidiary where you're basically on camera for content 24/7. Not knowing the entire melody to your given song or even parts you really enjoy is rough, not having confidence to do your own parts even if they're minimal is really bad. I think its more shame on her part that makes her say these things but in the context of a team, running away and being so afraid you stop trying is as good as active sabotage even if it's not meant that way, that's just how teams work and I don't think blaminh JTBC/Hybe for evil editing or making her a villain is right when that's just the logical consequence to her actions and this is now a repeated pattern over two challenges
Exactly wut i thought. she wasn't having the best time there and the producers will obviously use that for content. Usually we say "evil" editing when the producers r just making minor things veeery dramatic or making things up all together, but all this DID happen. The girl is struggling nd tbh i wish she'll get eliminated. It would be good for her nd her reputation if wants to debut in the future. Her behavior kinda annoys me sometimes but then i realize i can't rlly blame her i would probably act the same 🤷🏻♀️
As someone that gets really stressed and anxious easily I definitely see myself in her at times. I always feel so bad for her, like she was so young when she moved away from her family, she barely speaks the language, she’s then put on a stressful tv show where she’s facing judgement from everyone. Sure she is at fault at times, but I feel like she was really really stressed and just needed things to be explained to her slowly, and maybe she lost her confidence because of the uneasy environment they were all in. I think she’s an amazing dancer and she just needs to work on her stage presence and singing- she’ll be an amazing idol in the future! And I actually love her singing voice it’s just undeveloped at the moment.
This show became the new version of I-Land. And the worse thing is RUN often highlighting the minors. Like, I know they're lack of experience, but making the viewers whether hate them or feel pity to them (because they're innocence, cute, bla bla bla and somehow affects the votes) is how I see it. It's not only about being objective about their skills anymore. Anyway, without drama, the show won't be appealing, huh? So, to those who vote, choose wisely. It's only my personal opinion tho.
Iris is not mentally ready we all know it’s a survival show, but they need to give her time to get her self together. When I first saw iris in episode 1 her main skill is dancing 💃 if the vocal part that she’s getting not working let her try a rap instead
gurl it's a survival show she can't be getting eveything on the silver platter she needs to snatch her chance. If she knows high notes are not her thing and she should take parts with smaller notes or atleast try at the very least.
@@hobihobi7 but that’s the thing the way that they criticize her it would put any one down they need produce judges for this show at least the produce judges would have teach her on what to improve on
As a "villain"? I'm watching the show and didn't felt like the show was making her a " villain" nor did I personally felt like she was being a "villain" as she's just a 15 year old who's nervous and has some low self-esteem about herself. She can't control her emotions just like any other teen at her age and we of course get that. It's a lot of pressure being there and it shows on her emotional response and those who don't understand this are actually THE one who's making her the "villain" and not the show itself. It happened with Ni-ki too(actually much worse than her. Those who know, know.) during I-land and we all know how he's being treated by some "engenes" till date.
i actually dont feel like sad or bad for her i think she just lacked the " I have to debut " attitude, i mean girl u cant just debut without the hard work and no vocal skills. sorry but you gotta try harder and giving up so easily just is not the right thing to do like she was in a team she put her whole team in risk literally. so it kind of made me mad.
Who the tf force them to enter? Its those youngsterz fault itself. If you think ur talented while being young, yeah then go a head. But she's not even that talented or giving her best at all.

Iris on her vocal skills and not the vocal judge yes she needs vocal training and need to improve her stage presence . again they are there to guide them not just criticize everything they do
a judge makes a judgement, they would point out what's wrong for her to improve that part. And Even if I'm not a trained vocalist and just a mere dancer I can see from her performances that her vocals are really weak. I think she should just be eliminated to save her reputation. And just practice behind the camera. She may still improve on her vocals but if you really compare her to everyone in the group she's the weakest in terms of vocals.
@@demichii7016 that’s true I think Iris know that she’s not a good vocalist so when she said she didn’t want to sing? I kind of got her point she’s aware that her vocals are not the best and it’s affecting her mentally because of what the judges said to her
