Yeah the prices have definitely gone up on these lately. Even five below is up to $5.95 now! You should check your local Facebook groups. You may be able to find a group that does resales and swaps ☺️
Why can't you afford it? Even the jumbo size costs $30 which is still reasonable. I don't know how old you are, but anyone who is legally allowed to work can make $30 in 3 hours even at a minimum wage job.
I've seen them for $25-$30 usually. Costco usually has them for less in the store than online BUT the shipping is usually free online and there's a better selection so a few extra bucks isn't too bad
It's about $30 at Costco for the JUMBO squishmallow. I bought one for my 6 year old niece for her birthday present. She said it was the best birthday gift she got in the whole world!

Basic economics. Supply and demand. You want more squishmallows? Then the manufacturer can raise the price by a lot!
