- Today we start the job clearing out dead wood and small trees for what will become our small group campsite on the farm. We use the Kubota L3901 and Land Pride grapple to push, lift and remove dead wood.

Yeah, I let the saw get pinched. The tree was real rotten, so it was hard to "feel" where the saw was exactly in the cut. I knew I wanted to watch the top for anything breaking off and falling my way, so my game plan from the start was to drop back and look up as soon as the tree started to move. Thanks for watching!

Good job on that tree. I think tree felling is like landing a air plane any safe landing is a good one. You can always get another saw.

I know you are borrowing the grapple, but what are your thoughts on that model. SGC0660 I believe?

I used it hard for several weeks and didn't have any issues. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one if I needed it.

Great video! Looks like you work that grapple pretty hard! Any issues or silly damage on the grapple at all?
Hi, I'm just catching up on missed comments. That grapple in this video I just borrowed for a few weeks, so I don't have any long-term use feedback on it. I have had the Artillian grapple for a couple seasons and it has held up pretty good, though I need to get new pivot bushings for it because its starting to get some play in it.

Yes
You seem to be getting use to using the grapple. Did you decide on which grapple you are going to get?
Not yet. Probably going to save the $$ for now and just hold off on this purchase for a while.
