    I spent most of my holiday to Budapest with my jaw on the floor. It's an incredible place on earth. It's like it was built by hands from another heavenly dimention. The buildings aren't just buildings they are beautiful works of art.

    What a beautiful presentation! A few things that struck me while watching this: Where are all the architectural drawings, material lists, budgets, etc.? There must be a ton of paperwork for each of these buildings. The old photos show the buildings looking already ancient and weathered. If you added up all the building taking place in this one city in their timeline, there would have to been millions of workers working. The details inside and out is overwhelming. The design seems almost frenzied. There is no place for the eye to rest before you need to take in the next detail. What were the designers trying to protray with all this? And so many buildings designed in the same manner. I do appreciate all the time and effort you put in to collect all this information and share it with us.

    I have been so blessed. I got to visit Europe in 2008. I took my son, at the time 14, on a Eurorail trip. We had a wonderful time and we were able to visit Budapest and go to the Castle across the big bridge. I felt very small in comparison. 😊

    Great images and untold history. Prague is a good one too. A lot of Slavic records were spoken into 'Pohadky' or stories and mythology, fairytales. Written records on birch and papyra burnt readily by invading monarchs.

    you just got yourself a follower mate, fantastic video!
    I believe the purpose of the high geometry of the historical buildings is to make them more durable: the more complex the geometry, the better it shatters waves of energy traveling through the building, absorbing its energy to the ground and air. simple geometry, such as square blocks and round pillars are the worst construction-wise, because the energy wave can travel through them unharmed, thus with the greatest impact. the simplified mathematics is, the more geometrical surface, the more durable the structure. this is why our modern brick buildings wear and collapse so fast, whereas the cathedrals and such dome and tower buildings last unharmed hundreds and thousands of years, even in the high earthquake areas. this can also be used to determine the original value and importance of the building: the more geometry, the more important the building.
    In my theory I divide the history into two superpowers: the cathedral builders and the pyramid builders, both of which were global. eventually they went into war with each other, ultimately the cathedral builders bombing the pyramid builders out of existence. this is why we see so badly damaged and even completely flattened megalithic sites at egypt. their weathering suggests it happened quite long ago. then taking over the remaining population, writing a new history to them and moving underground and into the island of Mu, where they've controlled the world since. the ancient mythologies tells us of this coexistence: they were the god and lucifer, they were the gods and titans of the greek mythology and gods and giants of the norse mythology.

    Prague, Budapest, and Vienna are considered sister cities. They were all allegedly built under the Austria-Hungary empire. I lived in Budapest for 3+ years and Debrecen for 2 years. I attended the University of Debrecen for 2 years. I love the main building on the campus. I attended linguistic classes in a room that was two stories down to get to the entrance and it was called the fish bowl because it was a deep and steep room. About another 2 stories deep. The main hall had qualities of light and sound that were different than anything I experienced. I felt a sense of clarity when writing there. I suggest you check out Debrecen. Also known as the Reformist Rome. The other cities to check out would be Pecs and Gyor. But the fact is, Hungary is filled with treasures. According to the official story, the Austrian-Hungarian empire was one of the most powerful empires in the world up until WWI. If I were going to point to a villain in this reshaping of history, I'd look at the Khazars. You were astute to notice at the top of the video that Budapest is truly Central Europe. Trying to brand it as Eastern Europe is something that annoys Hungarians - and me.

    Hi there, Thank you so so much for your video as it was Breathtaking. No human built these places but they were built for our pleasure. I think the little round tower at 11.20 may have been a Men, toilet, that they still have in Paris, or some kind of vent to allow air circulation. In London they have Stink pipes, but these look more like street lights, that are tall thin metal pipes to allow the smells to come from below. Once again, thank you for all your work.

      Buildings were of course built by and for normal humans. IN that case by the Hungarians and Austrians. We talk about one of the worlds most powerful dynasties and one of Europes larges empires...so you can expect some level of fanciness in one of its capitals.
      So yes...the nobles and rich merchants did built to please people..especially themselves.

    Considering all of the "Great Fires " in this country alone, you would think there would be one actual photo of a city like Chicago, Baltimore, Galveston, burning down. We always see the aftermath of the incident though ?

    • @dergutehut3961
      @dergutehut3961 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can leave the quotations marks. They ARE actual fires...and its not like people didn't recorded it. But in these times the most common way to depict things in Newspapers was still by drawing...the same way you could ask why there are not that many Holograms of plane crashes or not enough Virtual Reality models of Tornados.
      And if you think they faked all those fires or that they weren't actually fires...than why wouldn't the people just photoshop pictures of fires..which might be one of the easiest
      photomanipulation task?
      Also...cameras were large and cluncky and unbelievable expensive and took some time to shoot photos...so the very last thing you wanted to do is to get close to a gigantic fire with your cam.
      The point is..that those great fires are pretty much what we expect from the time and the circumstances...and it would be a miracle if we. wouldn't have them.
      Btw..here is a picture of the fire in Baltimore we owe to some brave individual.

    The modern architectural mind doesn't gravitate to the pomp and splendor pictured in this video.
    A People, of different mind conceived, and a more enlightened monetary system built, these edifices.

    • @dergutehut3961
      @dergutehut3961 ปีที่แล้ว

      They were not more enlighted...they just had a society that made it much easier to exploit workers...which made building cheaper. And the monetary system wasn't much different. They had banks, debts and loans and interests...but they did NOT have modern predator capitlalism that tried to squeeze every cent out of a project.
      Building cheaply was frowned upon..and people rather saved money by not paying their workers than by letting the building look blend or boring.
      Also...the pomp and splendor was a clear refference of nobility and clergy and that wasn't in fashion anymore in the age of industrilzation..when people started to be more fascinated with basic shapes than with Greek Mythology.

    • @jthepickle7
      @jthepickle7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dergutehut3961 I must disagree. I contend that 'they' simply had more money, or a more enlightened system of money. It doesn't seem you've purged yourself from the false history - are mixing two histories, one being entirely false. Your 'exploited workers' is simply not mirrored, neither in the design nor execution of the craft of building.
