I'm a long time Irish fan who is enjoying your channel. Pretty astute analysis in the few videos I have watched, so far, so thanks for putting in the effort to make some enlightening, entertaining videos.
I was at this game. ND fan / alum. Absolute rollercoaster of emotions and hats off to PSU. Fantastic game on both sides of the ball from both teams, huge momentum swings. When Leonard went down I thought it was over, but the drive by Angela was immense.
Gotta hand it to Notre Dame. They don't quit. They came back twice, and they capitalized on Allar's late interception. But both teams played well, and it was a classic football game, the best one so far in the CFP.
I’m a Notre Dame alum and, of course, fan and I have loved seeing this ND team play with such heart and determination. Unlike ND teams of so many years past, this team is finding ways to win rather than finding ways to lose. 2nd half when I saw Riley Leonard smiling so big I started to believe they might really win it because he was having fun. This is a team with intangibles and I love it. BTW, Penn State really outplayed ND much of the game. Kudos to them.
My opinion Angeli, driving down and getting 3 points was critical and apparently deflated PSU because we went right down the field and scored 7 to tie it. I think Franklin should of ran out the clock. I think in overtime you would have a advantage running. I never expected that pass! Poor choice. 29 who intercepted that was picked on all game at USC, however, his stats are really good and that interception was awesome. Exactly what was said here. PSU went away from what was working excellently for you. Great game on both sides. Go Irish
Drew Allar looked like trash to me. Cost them four points at the start of the second quarter messing up one of the easiest touchdown passes you can make. And he didn’t complete a single pass to a wide receiver.
Exactly right. Imo , Tennessee was just the opposite. Plenty of talent but missing that mental toughness. Very few teams have it , especially now a days
He didn't fall at the start of the route. The ball had been caught, the receiver jumped and that led to the DB slipping. Jesus, anything to diminish a Notre Dame win. You blind haters are pathetic.
As soon as you said "maybe I am an old head..." and I thought "he is going to compare this to Jeff Samardzija".... maybe that is dating myself as well, but man it was fun watching Brady and Jeff sling the ball
I’ve been saying for a while that Drew Allar is just a game manager who gets carried by the rest of his team. Only now are others starting to realize it

ND’s defense is gonna be truly tested. Very unlikely they hold their next opponent to 17 points. And ND can depend on getting by with 25 points. I do t doubt they can win but they’re truly hurting on both side of the ball so they’ll need the next 11 days to get healthy enough for the championship game.

ND overcame injuries (2 OL), QB getting knocked out for a series, and a questionable PI. Mentally tough and clutch.
That wasn’t a questionable PI. They won because a CB fell at the start of a route. ND needed luck to win this one.
