    Just some advice, when it comes to tuning or coding these cars, the electrical system requires a lot of power to keep everything working properly and not brick the dme during a flash/coding process. BMW uses a power supply to give it a constant 50A to the battery, I’ve gotten away with a good high amp battery charger at about 45A, but the power supply is highly recommended.

      Thanks I was looking into to this and planning on using a server power supply and turn it into a charger. But honestly I haven’t ran into issues as yet… which will probably bite me in the butt later on.

    So is this a 0-60 increase or a hp increase or what I’m confused

    • @legogeeksbackyard
      @legogeeksbackyard  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hp increase… theoretically that would also translate to a increase in 0-60 times.

    The throttle body is always fully open. It’s used the valvetronic to control. Go read up.

  • @chilledn52
    @chilledn52 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    if you delete the throttle body and just run directly off valvetronic, like im doing (its still beta), the throttle response is stoopid crazy.

    • @chilledn52
      @chilledn52 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @JDe-wk5pc you need 1. A intake air temp sensor which is built into the Maf for proper maps. 2. You need a custom tune just for the throttle body delete. It will limp immediately if not plugged in or mixture codes and undriveable with it unscrewed

    • @legogeeksbackyard
      @legogeeksbackyard  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Id assume you would have the just stick the TB wide open? but i can imagine the throttle response is wicked almost like ITBS

      Tbh i wished i didnt put in the 3sim, way too much problems. Im planning to swap to the N54 throttle body soon.

    Hey man would there be anyway you could send me the software? I somehow don't have it installed on my computer anymore and need to flash my car quickly, but haven't heard back from them yet.

      Yes it should work on the 06 325i since it has the N52 engine. I would just check to make sure you either have the msv.70 or msv.80 ecu.

    Hp increase ?

    • @legogeeksbackyard
      @legogeeksbackyard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The car hasn’t been at the dyno. It’s a theoretical hp increase of about 40ish hp. That’s with the 3stage intake manifold, higher flow exhaust, cold air intake and tuned on 93 gas.
