    Wow so emotional listening to this... I dedicated my Radio programme on Tuesday to D-Day and the Fallen, playing appropriate music - recited the Exhortation and played the Normandie Veterans March. [from a daughter of a POW Who was captured for 5 years. Lest We Forget

      Hi Valery, It's really nice to hear from you and that's a great thing you did on your radio show. Are you still involved with the Bournemouth and Poole veterans? You might be interested to read about our short film documentary which is being screened on 24 June at Brighton Rocks International Film Festival. Nick (York Normandy Veterans organiser) and my son George are interviewed in their blog here;

      Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment on this particular film.
      Best wishes
      Mick, George and Nick

      @@forgephotography832 Yes still involved with Dunkirk Veterans lost our last actual Veteran December 2018 but we still meet in Memory of all our Veterans - next time we meet is 26th July as it is a job to keep tabs on them 2 of them are veterans themselves of Afganistan etc [they are sons of our Late President who was the last veteran of Dunkirk that we lost mentioned earlier]

      Hi Valery,
      That's really wonderful that you're keeping their memory alive. We are an unpaid filmmaking team (I'm retired, George is at Uni and everyone else volunteers). One of our team is a Falklands veteran and he has been adopted by Cookey who has really help with his PTSD. They might be a generation apart, but their experiences are the same. Big love to you all.
