mam...addition of electrons to antibonding orbital makes molecule unstable....so according to it axial position should be less stable in anomeric effect?
I suggest these mechanisms should be revisited, because no oxide could be formed in the presence of pyridine, once the alcohol oxygen donates its lone pair to the electrophile resulting in the oxonium ion which then could be deprotonated by the pyridine.
I think pyridine can not deprotonate alcohols, instead once the oxygen of alcohols donate its lone pair and becomes an oxonium ion than the weak base pyridine could take the proton easily.
Madam, I don't think that anomeric OH is nucleophilic enough to do any nucleophilic substitutions? it would rather open the ring after being deprotonated.
Mam if -OH group is present at equatorial position at anomeric carbon then it is stable but if -OR is present at equatorial then it is not stable and it is stable at axial position due to delocalisation of lone pair present at neighboring oxygen atom. Why it is not possible in case of -OH group present at axial position?
Ma'am if it is possible for u can you upload pdf of questions only ( like u uploaded for polymers) related to particular topics in physical or inorganic which you are not taking right now...at least we can prepare that questions without your videos...because only one month is left for exam...

thank you, the bond breaking between co and cho is rare info and crucial thanks for it
Beautiful explanation mam 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ma'am can cyclic structure of glucose or fructose react with HIO4? If yes can you please explain
1&6- 2 molecule HCHO, 2- 1 molecule CO2, 3,4&5- 3 molecule HCOOH...... for fructose
Video was very helpful MAm///////thank you......
@7:50 dear ma'am...wo ring oxygen bhi to protonated ho skti ha na?

thnk you so much mam...mam ek request he.. jese aldohexose k aapne GET RAXL...... name karvaye wese aldo ketose ka bhi yadi tric ho to bata dena mam.
Kindly add video on character table &it's application
thank you ma'm
Maam anomeric effect hm beta glucose m kyu nhi dekhte h..uske according to Alpha more stable hona chahiye ?
JEE bring me here !!
mam....endo or exo anomeric effect ke liye ek vedio dijiye na...thik se smjh nhi a raha hain!!!
In anomeric effect why cyclic oxygen is not protonated by hydroxinium ion. Explain plz

@@JChemistry Thanks a lot....
Mam ..glucose me jo OH opposite side.h....wo kyo reaction krnge HIO4 se..ye smj ni aaya😢
Yes
Thanks mam💖
If we add 1 equivalent of py/CH3-I then major product is
Apha anomer ( methyl alpha -D-glucoside), will be major product due to anomeric effect
Thank you so much
thanku mam
Mam, You teach till JEE-Advance level..Upload Thermodynamics also...Plzzzzzzzz
