Transformers Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime (1995)

At long last I have gotten round to finally reviewing Transformers Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime! This Autobot Leader figure was released at the end of Generation 2 by Hasbro in 1995 and was the first time Optimus Prime turned into a tanker truck.
In Europe it was called ‘Laser Rod Optimus Prime’ and it does share the same light up gimmicks as the Laser Rods. Overall this is a fantastic figure with the trailer becoming an epic battle station mode and easily one of the best toys to come out of Generation 2!
