Hierarchs of the Covenant - Prophet of Mercy

In an Age of Doubt, a pious Philologist transcended to the office of the Hierarchs upon discovering a truth that shook the very foundations of the Covenant. He was the last of the Old Guard, the eldest of the Hierarchs that ruled the Covenant during the Great War, and the second Hierarch to be consumed by the monstrous parasite. He was born as Hod Rumnt, but he died as the High Prophet of Mercy.

man I miss the old covenant. I think they should make a game that takes place in the middle of the human covenant war , it would give like 95% of the halo fandom what they want plus it would be interesting because it's pretty unexplored

I kinda feel bad for Mercy . He was so passionate about the Covenant Religion, he was a true believer and must've been a well recieved Hierarch to the citizens of the Covenant . After learning that the Humanity are the true reclaimers, I think that he wanted to object the Minister of Fortitude's ( Truth ) insane idea of genocide against the true heirs to the gods, considering that he was very religious . Regret is a different topic considering that he was rash and arrogant, but I still feel a bit bad for him, he was the youngest of the 3 Hierarchs and wanted to prove himself to the other 2 older Hierarchs . Now I don't feel bad for Truth since he was power-hungry diabolical tyrant .
