Here is a Wayne Perry story. When I was a 17 year old kid, I was about to fight Wayne Perry not knowing who he was. He was much older than us kids, but he would walk into the store and bypass the line and order his food. No one would say anything but I started talking crap to him, and I remember everybody was like no go home, you don’t know what you are doing. Some women who I didn’t know grabbed me by my waist and pulled me away. Later on I learned who he was, and thought how close was that. I wasn’t a tough guy, but I thought everyone should wait their turn in line and not be rude.
Bro i had all your books when I was upstate after i read street legends vol.1 i had my ppl send in every1 i think the last 1 i got was rayful edmond u r a phenomenal writer
i read somewhere that omar from the wire was loosely based on wayne perry and mostly based on this baltimore street legend who actualy acted on side of Micheal k willams.
A bully , thug , cold blood killer who could ever trust him the streets didn't want him that's why no one would bond him out he's no legend he was a legion of demon's if Alpo didn't tell on him some of you wouldn't be around to see this, Sad
While attending Howard University, I attended a store church and unbeknownst to me, Silk would frequently services every now and then. The pastor knew him and would welcome him with open arms.
Surprised nobody is saying WP wasn't that dangerous or wasn't this or that . Something I've read in a lot of threads.. It's simple, he was what they say he was. Alpo the 🐀tried to do business in DC and was lucky he didn't get murdered before he got Wayne and his people in his crew. Once he connected with Perry his business skyrocketed. Seems Perry deterred other gangsters for pulling things off with Alpo. They surely tried but got offed quickly. BTW Perry is not about that life anymore he converted to Islam and doesn't want to be associated with that negative lifestyle anymore.. If he's honest about it is not up to me to say but I do believe he is honest about it.
Gangster, without a doubt. Gun in the right hand, left stuck out expecting to be paid. A true double edge sword, and hard to pull off for most… ….being a drug dealer, career criminal, or killer even doesn’t make you a gangster. What others think of you does. His face was his money, that’s when you have become a gangster in that world.
DC had lions every where,,I use to come to DC in the early 80s so I knew how DC cats get down, before the crack era, when I came back I came back with 38 great gun for that era , and went to prison at 17 for almost 17 years,DC cats gave me confidence, that I wish I would not developed because I stayed in prison all DC cats don't like men
😂 coming from a legendary 🤡 such as yourself , but hey you are a legend to so I guess everyone is equal, Seth no need to engage with the circus 🎪 🤡, good doc bro
Dude are u from D.c I dont think cuz if u were u wouldn't made such a stupid statement first off define Gangster if u got that then u know he was most certainly a gangster he is the epitome of gangster he never killed for personal reason always business he had moral codes he RESPECTED the omerta code and if u dont know what OMERTA IS then I see why u said what you said
Conclusion: Crime doesn't pay, especially the drug game. The drug game is a very dirty business that results in hard mandatory prison sentences for those that get caught. Its too much technology today in 2024 not to get caught. Back in the 80s and 90s it was easy due to the lack of cell phones and advanced tech. If you're willing to break the law for money, then become a politician or real license professional and leverage your craft or skillset to capitalize on money making opportunities.
