You go, Caleb! Another well prepared presentation. Although there is actually plenty more to learn and understand in these lines, the content presented is all essential. I've been away from chess for several decades and since returning noticed with some amusement how this line that against the delayed Black Nc6(or plays Nbd7 instead) is referred to as the "Fischer-Sozin." Decades ago when I opened a book, the Sozin name was applied only against the "Classical Sicilian" with an early Nc6 and Bc4 against the Najdorf was generally referred to as the "Fischer line" or attack. The point was that it makes a significant difference whether Nc6 is played which provides the extra option of getting rid of the Nd4 which threats a sac on e6 among other things or if instead of the N exchange has more ambitious plans routing through c5 (or less often b6).
Im 2200 elo online, I played against the line of castling after Qa5 with the engine in the g4 line and it’s indeed the best try for white, it’s funny how the move that looks the most insane and that Caleb didn’t even consider it’s the best try for white ^^ anyways it’s still an equal position nonetheless but I only see white having all the fun whereas black has to struggle a little bit more thinking
In fact, Sozin disappeared from a strong grandmaster level for a while. That's why those super engines still didn't put Thumb touch in the opening. Yes, this g4 line has been playing by GM Bassem Amin. the popular Egyptian GM. And I faced Qa5 about 3 or 4 times so I started to prepare against Qa5 by 0-0 . and its top engine recommendation . and of course after h6 there is F4 and its seems like white plays G4 and 0-0 !!! but guess what . his king is safe and only black who is under attack. You may ask me why you are sharing your own preparations with the channel. Because I love Fischer. my friends call me EgyFischer. I am playing all his lines and I mean all his repertoire. And I would love to see people playing Sozin attack again. So when you say Sozin is not that ambitious against the Narjdorf. I got more than proof it can work! Great Lecture Celab And keep moving forward
@mxstoe You saw Fischer scores?. ofc it's equal I am not saying its winning but no white and black can win these positions and I got more than those databases saying to show up that's its still got more than trick. EgyFischer_zk in lichess . Send me a message there I will put you in the study .
around 6:15 you showed a line 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bc4 e6 7.Bb3 Be7 8.g4 Qa5 9.Bd2 Qb4 that i never would have thought of

I love the opening!
Thanks man, your last video was also awesome
Qf3 stops all counters in queen side by preventing b5 . White is always better 25:00

Thank you very much, this is great. Can you do a lecture about the Alapin someday? Sadly, the antisicilians have become too popular.
The Anti-Sicilians are half the fun of the Sicilian defence. Learn the Nimzowitch amd never fear the Alapin again!
