I'm a country boy from Oklahoma, but I've spent six years of my life in Korea. Honestly, I love it there, both in Seoul and the provinces, especially Gangwon-do. Seoul is the only major metropolis that I feel safe in. It's amazing to be outside on a nice night and not hear the deafening roar of traffic or sirens. My only choice for retirement other than the countryside of Oklahoma is South Korea, and it wouldn't be too hard to settle down in Seoul.

Seoul truly deserves the title "Heart of Asia" than any other cities.
