Couldn’t believe it when I first started watching this video and it said trout river . I grow up there. Left home when I was 17 and moved to ont. but nfld is still home to me . My name is Derek brake. Incase u talk to anyone from there.
great video. and now you know why i been hunting alone for 30 years .(cant find anyone with hunting ethics). I been hunting the area you were in for many years and yes there a lot of bad apples there. ( there's also a couple trophy moose). thanks for the video.
First “Like”….watching with interest. Didn’t get our moose last….bull or calf! Never saw a thing. That’s a big bull up on that ridge! Bad hunters everywhere for sure! You certainly covered a lot of territory! Probably should have stayed where you were, aren’t that always the case. Great job overall…got your moose!
Great video. No worries on the camera. Stuff happens. Too bad about the @#*&$# fellows who drove the moose. There are bad apples everywhere. Looking forward to new videos. Congratulations on the fine animal.
That was 2 nice moose. i guess you guys showed up the other locals. lots of moose are wounded or gone because of shoots fired to far. the second was a nice shot. great hunts
So u gonna just leave the moose meat over where u killed it. I know two men can't pack a whole moose out one trip each. Did enjoy the hunt but nice overall
I just got done watching this vid. Not sure if you realized before, but when you drew out your walking path... You drew a moose! You shoot a good vid, I enjoy your content. Keep'er up!
I’ve hunted moose for forty years, deer as well, I’ve learned to be ready for action any time while hunting and or stalking, so I gotta ask, do you lads not have a shot in the chamber, or wait until you see something to chamber? Certainly not being critical, just asking, beautiful bull by the way.
Dandy video. Any day in on the country is a good day. Really enjoyed it. I was lucky enough to get a trophy my self last season. I’m not much for filming so no video to share but it was quite the hunt. Killed a beauty 28 point bull. And I knows all about that hard work to get him out.
Hi Brad, I'm not sure now the names of the backpacks but since this hunt, I use frame packs they are so much more convenient. alpsoutdoorz.com/commander.html
Hi Brad these are what we call "Lump bags/Roll bags" I have also heard them called "Rice Bags" these are not the proper names and if you need to know the correct name i will do a little searching to see if I can find the correct name.
why bad mouth a local hunter?
how far do you or your hunter live from where you seen the moose?
Thanks for watching
You definitely need to get someone to narrate for you and stick to guiding......Your downfall.

Terry I'm not sure why you are asking this question but the answer to it is, it always depends on the situation.

Hi Brad, I'm not sure now the names of the backpacks but since this hunt, I use frame packs they are so much more convenient.

Cool. I was also wondering about the white bags on the quad that the meat was in. Do you know what they were?
