All of her negativity from past lives is mainly cast aside and away from her and it incarnates into its own entity as Frederica Bernkastel of which whom you see on the last episode of season 2. That's how sh likely stays sane. I think the God that helps her reincarnate likely has something to do with that. We know she doesn't retain all memory because she forgets what happens at first before her final reincarnation. I mean, she doesn't remember all of her friends being killed when she's so close even though she does her best to remember just before fully dying, so that's a big implication to this fact.

I remember when I first watched Higurashi. I walked into the show not knowing a thing. I just heard people rave about the show. Going into it blind, Rika came across as your typical little girl with weird quirks. Little did I know behind this fabricated mask facade, you begin to realize you're not dealing with a child. You're dealing with a highly sophisticated being that's knows much more than she lets on. But for some odd reason I cannot explain, she gave me a sense of ease whenever she's around. No matter how stressed you feel for the characters, you get a sense of calmness when Rika is around. The writers truly did a great job in this. The calmness began for me in episode 7 (Lies). You're dealing with the main character Kaiichi who's paranoid at thought of being "Spirited Away" by the demon. Thinks to Shion. Rika however uses a metaphor telling Keiichi of the two scared little kitties doing something "Naughty". And Rika would convince the poor little kitties that everything will be ok. This was the moment Rika showed me that she was the calmness in a storm. Worthy of the title "Queen Bee". Takano however was the complete opposite. In every Takano scene I felt a unexplained uneasiness around her. Much like Rika, she no a lot than she lets on. However her choice of words are very different compared to Rikas. While Rikas words come off relaxing and calming. Takano words come off more edgy. Almost like there's a problem that needs to solved. Sowing seeds of mistrust, anxiety and dishonesty to our main characters. The episode where Takano picks up Keiichi who just got done burying the body of Satoko's abusive uncle. The words that stood out from Takano is "Bury the body". This was very bizarre thing to say. At first I thought, how, how did she know? But then when Keiichi brought up Jirou Tomitake bike she was very dismissive. This led me to believe the words "Bury the body" wasn't so much a question to Keiichi but more a question to herself. Then telling Keiichi "We never met tonight". This only added to my growing suspicion of Mio Takano. Rika was caring. Warning Akasaka about his wife's death, hoping it would prevent a tragedy from occuring contrast to Takanos deceptive and mistrust. This show was awesome.
I swear the first few episodes of this show is a adorable kids show, but then it becomes a horror, then a thriller, and then action, and even more horror. None of which is kid friendly after the first few episodes

That's why i vastly prefer Featherine to Bernkastel and Lambdadelta in a morality sense. In terms of character development, my favorite of the 3 is Bernkastel tho. If the God that created us was a tyrannical despot that only wanted our suffering, i would aim to kick its ass, no questions. Also, it seems that you believe Griffith did nothing wrong, so your opinion doesn't matter, if that's the case.
