9:30 - I chose "~" for my portal keybind. Only drawback is that occasionally I might hit it while scrambling for a health pot on "1" but dropping an inadvertant portal isn't the worst thing in the world.
Yeah, I had it set for something else, but will probably go with that.
3:50 - You can select a different cursor in Options (pretty sure it's in the UI tab, can't confirm because at work). I personally use the pink one because it's really hard to lose sight of that, even at the game's most clusterfuckiest.
Didn't notice the color options. The next bigger size is massive, though.
Stash tabs are on sale this weekend BTW
Yeah, I saw that, but the map tab is the most expensive tab and isn't really in the cards for now.
Body Armour - Should've equipped the Glorious Plate before slapping on the craft to see what your resistances would be (lightning+chaos would have had you capped at all 3 elements), but otherwise the correct call. Don't worry about the life regen, you should have a considerable amount of life leech.
Vendor the Sun Plate to get Jeweler's Orbs so you can at the very least 4L all of your slots.
Gotcha!
16:45 - Yeah, Betrayal is honestly one of those things you should consult a guide on. It's...not very intuitive.
If Jun (Betrayal) shows up in your maps, there will be 3 encounters: Research (that door you ignored in the beginning), Assassination (the random encounter you experienced shortly thereafter) and Transportation or Fortification (you got the former).
It definitely doesn't seem like a 'wing it' sort of mechanic.
7:00 - The only way to change the implicit on a weapon is by corrupting it (Vaal Orb, usually) to maybe get a different implicit, but only one of those is really any good for the RF build (increased AoE).
There are items that have completely different implicits from what their base item has, but if you're currently in the "just starting college" portion of the game, these items are "getting your Master's" portion.
Gotcha!
4:50 - Oh yeah, Essences also have a 3:1 upgrade recipe (or, if you have the Essence tab, you can do the upgrading right from there; of the mechanic-specific tabs it's probably the most useful, not to mention the prettiest as you fill it out).
Makes sense!
5:15 - That sound = corpse explosions. Avoid the geysers coming out of ground and find the rare monster or totem that's doing that ASAP because corpse explosions tend to be One Shot City.
Yeah, I'm one of those who loses focus and stands in the fire, lol.
So you've got Herald of Purity and War Banner reserving mana...where's Determination? Pride?
Haven't gotten around to those yet.
1:35 - See that Fast Forward button near your skill bar? That'll end the Delirium encounter early.
Ah!
3:00 - Actually click on the damn Shrines ffs. That one is a Diamond Shrine, which gives guaranteed critical strikes. I'm pretty sure you have Resolute Technique on your character, which means the bonus does nothing ("never" beats "always" in this game), but not clicking it means all the nearby monsters have 100% crit chance against you.
If you do decide to engage in Delirium, the point is to get to the boss ASAP, as the reward bars fill faster the further away from the mirror you get (said monsters also get harder the further out you go though).
Yes, Boneshatter is pretty cool for that. If you had built up your BV character more and gotten either Obliteration or Asenath's Gentle Touch you'd get a similar experience of "tap 1 monster, blow up half the screen".
Didn't even notice it...
@@Gunthrek You're definitely going to notice the one that gives the "Cannot Be Damaged" buff when nothing around it seems to be dying, so just click on them.
