You learn the enemy's attacks as you play the game so that is a non-issue. You don't need to parry enemy attacks at all. You don't need to have played the game at all due to the game not being difficult even with the pistol only.
Many FPS games have players using 1 or 2 guns for entire missions/matches, most people will be completely satisfied with only using the pistol for the short amount of time it takes to play Ultrakill levels. And a noob doesn't have style, that's why they just fall back on the pistol because it is easier than learning the game. That's the entire issue, that someone bad at the game isn't going to bother getting good at all the intricate and cool systems because they never need to. Why do you think people use meta weapons or camp in FPS games? It's because the game is designed badly and people are completely fine with beating it the most practical and reasonable way.

- Style meter now gives you a small health bonus when you play stylishly.
- The style meter's fresh weapon bonus was reworked into a freshness meter so you have to switch between more than just two weapons to get the additional style points.
- The whiplash got nerfed so it was harder to cheese fights with

There's difference between stating your opinion an lying.
Mayo says theres no incentive to use other weapons, but:
Ricochet a coin on a street cleaner and insta-kill it.
Fully charge a shotgun and insta kill a mind flayer.
I could give more weapon examples, but your better off going on the wiki.
Mayo also says enemies only run at you.
The only enemies that cosntantly run at you are fliths street cleaners and swordsmachines.
And even fliths can kill you if your not careful.
Mayo like many people use these days use "it's just my opinion" to deflect criticism.
But your right to an opinion does not vaildate your opinion.
Opinions by definition are subject to criticism.

Just look at any ultrakill play though, and you'll see ultrakill players doings things that they would be able to read to do.

The real mayo% is using no movement tools available, just running and occasionally jumping, dying over and over and over again in the first room, and then rage quitting and making a video complaining about the game not being fun because you can’t beat it with only the piercer and that the only reason you didn’t try other weapons was because the game didn’t “incentivize” it.

@@Reinoiroto be fair, when people criticized him he doubled and then tripled down on it even harder and just started insulting everyone who liked the game, plus his takes on literally every other game are horrendous. Watch his Hollow Knight review, it is genuinely one of the worst takes on the game that I have ever seen. And again, he falls back to passive-aggressively insulting people who like games that he doesn’t. So he kind of deserves to get clowned on at this point.
