Got to see Leanne Rimes on New Years Eve 98. This blew my mind. Is so perfect. It also added more tears to my rushing river I have made. I can so sadly relate to this song
As cute as it was to surprise then with LeAnn, it would have been so much cuter and sweeter if they had known about her and they actually worked out harmonies. Or, even, worked out harmonies with Layla, and surprised Dyxie. It just didn't see fair all the way around for Layla to showcase her voice once more--having Dyxie and LeAnn seemingly upstage her.
They both have amazing voices but they keep choosing that song which is below Dyxie's register and doesn't do her voice justice. And Layla is amazing, but it's hard to tell that when watching "The Dyxie Sping Show". I wish the best to both of them. What a great surprise to have LeAnn surprise them?
To my fellow Springers watching the current season of Idol waiting to see Layla again, I'm afraid we've wasted our time. She just revealed tonight that she got cut in Hollywood Week. My guess is she got cut on Genre Challenge Night, since Chloe Channell (who was on this show last year) got cut in Duets Night. I've given Idol TWO STRIKES so far. If they cut either Makayla Phillips or Genavieve Linkowski (or both in one night), I will do EVERYTHING in my power to have this show... 👏🏼👏🏼 CANCELLED!!!
