What a special trip! And the fact they had amazing opportunities at the animals they took makes it even better! And a Fantastic job putting all of this together for them so they can relive it!
Really enjoyed your video. I've hunted with the Jordaans twice and agree with everything said. You couldn't ask for a more welcoming family. The location is safe, the equipment is top notch (ex: don't you just love that rife?), and the animals are abundant. Janiece, my wife was very hesitant to go to Africa but after the first hunt we were back again 9 months later. We know the whole family well now and all 3 of the brothers and others that occasionally guide for them like "Cousin Paul" all are at the top of their profession. I could ramble on for days about how great the visits were. I've hunted all my life, all over North America and hands down my time at Tollie's was the highlight of all my hunting experiences.
I personally do not like the blurring of the wide angle. Africa needs to be in the picture not just the person or animal. I have made 14 trips and have hours of video.
I think you are referring the edges of the shots being blur. That is because the hunters shot the footage in portrait rather than landscape. I agree, definitely better when it is in landscape. The best I can do with the portrait video is blur the edges so there aren’t just black rectangles on both sides. I appreciate the feedback and I agree, that landscape is UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Top quality trophies. The ladys Kudu bul take a 1st place for me, the work effert to hunt it was second to none. As a South African, hats of to this PH and his tracker.
