Be it Manual or Automatic but the MG Hector has a very thirsty petrol engine and only diesel engine is fun to drive however diesel automatic is something SUV buyers demand. Instead of just adding variants and transmission in petrol, diesel torque converter is needed for traffic situations
But the hector has the best mileage compared to Harrier, Creta, Seltos and Compass no?

Any way one thing is for sure. MG HECTOR CVT AT PETROL is a heavy / fully loaded/ huge vehicle which can’t be compared with Creta, Harrier, seltos, Taigun which often the TH-camRS Are doing.
Customer is getting next level vehicle with hardly a difference of approx. 3 lacs compared with the above mentioned vehicles for eg.
It’s an SUV with a blend of EUROPEAN DNA 🧬 with Chineese Captain ship which is very much needed to sustain today’s competition. I feel It’s is a nice combination to sustain the market in terms of pricing and also further development of electronics/ software, where the Chinese are good in doing with less cost with out throwing much burden on end users unlike European manufacturers. This is the reason where the Once upon a time Automobile Hero’s like Ford , VW , Honda etc are struggling a lot to launch and sustain the price market like in India so this is the reason I say the Chinese collaboration is needed to give tough fight for Korean car makers. I have explained so much about Chinese collaboration here only as my answer to some YOU TUBERS who are mentioning this car as a CHINESE CAR to promote Negative Propaganda but they don’t know how this CHINESE CAR WILL do wonders in the coming price market
Wonderful CVT , 18” tyres , 2 nd row ample legroom, 10.4 Infotainment with Internet inside are a very to mention. Huge boot, can be converted into bedroom on long night drives . It’s like getting a LIMOUSINE ! , for the price. Inspite of wonderful mileage.

@faisal Khan ... good review. Everything you said about the car is spot on. However, the fuel efficiency figure is not right. The way you drove for this vlog, your avg would have been around 5kmpl. That aside .... in practical city driving (Bangalore conditions), the car returns an average of 6.5 to 7.5kmpl .... Best I've got on highways is 11kmpl. These are tank to tank figures and car is driven in a normal manner without rushing the vehicle.
Comfort is unmatched. My family and I find this vehicle even more comfortable than the Innova crysta. Quite and airy cabin and the soft suspension makes for a very comfortable travel experience.
