Thanks! In the book I’m reading BRS Anatomy, it says that the sympathetic nerves enter the sympathetic ganglion via the white rami and then synapse with other sympathetic ganglia up or down the sympathetic chain. So the loop is there probably for redundancy or for “greater control” of the sympathetic nervous system
