Agreed, the whole point of GO was that they had to get creative to race to complete an objective that could apply to multiple games. Nonlinear thinking. The game-specific objectives might as well be considered a Things to Do.

An idea i had for GO! would be to put in Halo CE, switch everyone's controls to legacy southpaw inverted (if they play inverted already switch to normal) then start up the pillar of autumn and see who can beat it on Legendary first. It would be a cool call back to the good ol CE days when you couldn't switch controls mid game, so if someone passed you the sticks mid game you had to just deal with whatever they had set up.

i will admit the consistency of the series has been great and has had plenty of great moments, but i feel the series lost its entertainment because they hate the game. and for me the repeated challenges with a simple different name are the worst, not the replays (x titles) but a bad example would be dig through dirt n find gold blocks. then dig through ice n find gold blocks. the ice cube x with the fall counter was great, but it was a challenge that was alrdy done a handful of times and simply bored me after the 1st few laughs. i think if they took a break for like a month or 2, thought of some new mini games and challenges, and just give them a break from playing the same game over n over. then come back with a stronger more positive mood towards the game would revive the series (for me at least)
