I have both PES2021 and efootball 2024 (On Xbox series S). For me the game play of PES2021 is better. . .it runs smother.. . .the game developer's perfected the running of the engine software .. . feels more faster, stable and the graphics are more pronounced and bright. I also really love the simplicity of PES2021. . .raw traditional football. . . . .straight to the point . .. .systematically friendly to comprehend. . .not too much added effects of credit points etc. . .and the fact that players reincarnate after retiring. .then you can buy them again and train them better than the previous version of themselves from the young tender age of 16. . . to compensate for their shortfalls you experienced previously when you had the player in their prime (25 years old to 31 depending on the player). I still play it today on a daily basis in 2023, probably going to carry on playing it more in 2024. . .until this new eFootball version can make some dramatic changes. I remember E-football 2024 when it was released. You could download the full game for free. . i was so excited. . then when i played it . . I was so disappointed. I played 1 half. . exited the game and reverted back to PES2021 instantly. efootball 2024. . has some improved dynamics of how the players dribble and move. . that i noticed. . .but the graphics seemed dull and sketchy . .and the game play is slower. and just wierd. . the game developers didn't get it right on this one. its like they tried prioritizing on realism too much and took out the fun of playing football. efootball has more extra effects and dynamics that is unnecessary and it just felt like when it was being made. . .it was rushed/ or the game developers had a smaller budget to make the game as compared to PES2021. I just wish that . .the Game developers can release an update patch for PES2021 that has all the latest players we see today in 2023-2024 on the Xbox series S platform. . that will be dope AF. . . efootball 2024 is some bullshit. . A física da rede do gol e da bola são um lixo no efootball. Não dá imersão nenhuma. E barulho quando tu faz um gol parece que tá fazendo cesta no basquete.
I still play PES 21 and it is and it remains the best sim out there .... the game play and the realism on, passing, shooting, tackling, even fouls because of hits on the face, jersey pulling and obstructing the play its just different. I can go on and on, telling on how goals DO feel real in PES 21 than any other game until this point.... if you enjoy football then, PES 21 is your game.... the rest is just arcade...... real gaming and real football experience died in PES21. This game just gives you tons of single and multiplayer hours to enjoy playing along your mates, unfortunately this was one of the last greatest football games out there.
Pes 2021 was miles ahead of eFootball 2025 in terms of lighting, grass, pitch colour, running style,and ball animation, even eFootball with better details still looks crap because of bad lighting and colour grading, the visual quality of pes 2021 was just amazing.

They just need to add more contrast and more saturation to the graphics and blur effect to some of the cut scenes like the cut scenes after scoring a goal

Also notice when you are playing a match, PES graphics felt more natural in terms of the players overall build and overall body language/movement but for eFootball I felt like the players overall build is somewhat unnaturally thinner and the players overall body movement seems off. For gameplay I would say PES, offers much more fluidity, faster game pace and fun even though its not close to realism but if you prefer realism gameplay over other things then you can choose to play eFootball that have slower game pace.
Efootball is akin to fifa in this comparison. Better hair animations, folding of clothes. But the pitch is still for pes21. Pes21 wins, the pitch is still ours!

Na maioria dos aspectos visuais o PES 21 é mais realista e bem detalhado quê o Efootebol, porém em relação as faces dos jogadores o Efootebol é mais realista e em algumas animações da torcida e outros detalhes. Mais de qualquer forma, ambos possuem gráficos inferiores ao FIFA23 ou FC24, apenas a física e a mecânica de gameplay do PES e Efootebol são melhores quê o FIFA23 ou FC24.
