Wow you got it for so cheap!! Yours is in better condition than mine but mine had no odor thankfully. I got one from FP a couple years ago for around $600 then I had leather changed (strap and loops) so it was a $800 total investment. It’s a beautiful bag. Should last nearly forever. I think it’s great for fall. It looks so classy on. I regret spending so much on it but at the time I wasn’t so sure about using eBay.

I was never into Epi because I much prefer natural full grain leather but I bought a speedy 25 in noir for around 550 and was immediately hooked. I then bought a Petit Noé also in black Epi and it was in new condition. Its structure never changed since 1998. It had no creasing not misshapen at all to the point where sometimes it looks like the Neo Noé. My version doesn’t have the zipper pocket which I wished it did but I bought a matching nano Papillion also in Noir Epi to clip inside the D-Ring a long with my keys. I still prefer my Hermes bags but I am now hooked on Epi leather. So elegant so understated and it’s very casual. Goes with so many of my outfits. I rarely switch out of it. My other love is vintage Chanel and vintage Coach from the mid 90s or 80s. Thick beautiful full grain leather and the soft suede interior. I no longer buy bags that shave a cloth lining. I stick to leather lined or suede lined or alcantara. The open top doesn’t bother me even though I live in NYC. I’m eyeing either a Sac Seau or a Sac Plat PM. I had the new mini sac plat but it barely fit anything so I returned it. I’m very selective on which houses I spend money on now since the quality of 90% of these houses has gone to hell. Hermes, Loewe, Dior, Delvaux and Valextra are some bags I’ll buy new. Givenchy and Ferragamo still have good quality. I hope you enjoy your piece as much as I enjoy mine! xx

It is heavier in leather than canvas, but I don’t find it exceptionally heavy. It’s very comfortable to me 🥰
