I've owned a brand new 1993, brand new 2002, and now have a bought used 1997. I have put over 200,000 miles on Vulcan 750s. But I can give you a long list of problems with them, that Kawasaki could have fixed, but didn't. I actually now believe that the Yamaha Virago 750 is a better bike.

Faktycznie coś " zgrzypi" przy pewnej prędkości i może to być np. wał kardana czy cośkolwiek - tak czy siak fajna maszyna

2003 Vulcan 750 was the first street bike I bought new...only problem I had was after doing 60-70 mph for longer than 10 minutes, if you shut it off it was a bear to get started again. Mostly just run down the battery. A friend told me 'the floats in the carb were shut" or something to that effect. Hated having a bike you could not count on to restart after just a short stop. Drive shaft also blew out on me after about 30,000 miles. Cool bike, nice ride, but Kows need to work on reliability and dependability.

Regulator rectifier stator have issues when not looked after; mod: U should have moved the rectifier to a cooler place. Shaft drive needs oil change in rear hub and Cardan shaft fully lubricated every 12,000 to 15,000 miles. Oil change & filter 4-6,000, Coolant every 20,000 miles...

You probably don't have this bike anymore but for anyone looking to get one, you need to go ahead and re-lube and regrease the final drive. Some of them weren't done properly during the assembly which caused premature shaft failure. These bikes are old. Go-ahead and rebuild your carb and get new intake boots. Also, the cam chain pensioners are automatic. They will eventually get maxed out and no longer work properly, but changing them to manual pensioners costs about $10 and 20 minutes. These are GREAT bikes for being only 750ccs. Also google the "ear shave" mod. You'll get more power out of her.

I have a Vulcan 750. It does not make a noise like that. Sounds like you are dragging a chain behind you

110-115 mph, maybe with a aero-flow screen. Reason sit up & beg riding position, out in the air flow!
