I 100% agree with your endorsement of this jacket! I had almost the exact same one and it saved my entire upper torso from having the skin flayed off in a 75mph accident. I will never buy gear other than Alpinestars, it is worth every penny. I own boots, jacket and gloves all from them..maybe sometimes a bit pricey, but after sustaining a serious accident wearing the gear that saved my ankles from snapping and my skin flayed off, I will attest to it being 100% worth it.
You are good and do well. I’m presently following my theoretical class before I get to driving class and all your videos are very helpful and professional. Continue your great work. Thanks
Do you think the Icon tarmac is more worth the money just cause of the fact the back protector comes stock opposed to hi vis fly racing jacket ? @RevZilla
Well the Icon D3O back protector is worth about $30, and a Fly Racing Level 1 back protector is worth about $25, so you would compare the features against the cost taking the cost of the back protectors into account. That puts them on a pretty similar footing for price. The Fly Terra Trek is a bit better value, since it has the extra pockets and thermal liner, but the Icon is still a good value. -DrewZilla
Anyone crash test the tarmac yet? I just got one but not sure if I am goign to keep it... the material is basically the same as my helly hansen rain jacket, i'm not convinced it will hold up
As noted on the product page, size small (SM) for the Sand 3 Jacket uses the Seesoft Type RV Size 04. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-seesoft-back-protector-insert *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-sand-3-jacket

If I was given any Alpine Stars gear I'd sell it or give it to a charity shop. I prefer to buy gear that does not let rain through and al the Alpine Star gear I've ever had did in anything other than a light shower.
Supersport and Tourmaster - something doesn't add up, don't you think so? Also, never had a single problem with the Transition series 2 and up, also with Intake Air.
They are too hot. Weather is cooler. Just buy a leather jacket that is slightly larger than your normal size so the air can go up the sleeves and out the back and in the half zipped front zipper on hot days. When you have a leather jacket on, you are in the shade. When you stop at a light or stop sign or you’re in slow traffic, you start to perspire, when you get rolling again, you have high evaporation cooling.. they are pushing this junk textile jacket thing, because it’s cheap to make. It’s not as protective as leather, and it is hot on hot days. Buy a Leather jacket with zippered vents. Not a jacket made out of recycled plastic bottles

Joe looks like he's gonna beat me up if i don't buy at least 4 of his jackets.
What are Joe's dimensions again?
J in the VA is right! We still don't have clear Joe's size 😁 pls repeat one more time
IKR FFS
Joe is 173 cm tall, weighs in at 77 kgs and has a size 98 cm chest and wears mostly a size small due to the dimensions given.
Can we have a definitive answer on Joe's height? Is he 5'8" or 5'9"?

Alpinestars Andes II with armour upgraded to level II is hard to beat for the money for ADV riding.
Tourmaster Transition 3 and up are very serious contenders.

makes me realize that motorcycle gear has garbage sizes, Joe is 5'8 and wears small, so what am i, someone who is 5'4 gonna wear?

RevIt gear as your BEST option? HAHAHAH Who fucking paid your company off? I'm starting to think RevZilla only sells shit products.
The model looks so sad. Probably a minimum wage worker
