If Polyphia held another cover contest, this would easily win. Absolutely insane.
I don’t know though, he didn’t do a 7/10 version of playing god while tapping the guitar body. Instead, he actually nailed it and added more depth to the composition
Never blaming my hands being cold again
You know what's crazy? Not just him transcribing and playing this, but the fact that it's cold enough to see his breath. If you've ever tried playing with cold hands, you know what I'm talking about.
as an average Canadian with some playing experience, can confirm its hard to play in the cold
Nah the rooms like 70° he just needed to overclock to play this piece
No chord or mic. He recorded this in studio and then filmed. The local changes more than once as well. The visual and audio representation aren't in the same take.😊
Tim Henson calls this one their most difficult and here is this guy adding the baseline alongside everything else like it's nothing. Bravo dude
Bro cleaned the entire warehouse with that playing
bro plays it like he's having dinner with his family wtf
What does this mean lol
@@SK23.likes hes having dinner with his family😂
@SK23. He's to calm, not even trying
@@SK23.hes playing to impress basically
@@pandarage21he's just that good lol
If you suck trying to learn just Tim´s part. Remember this Dude is Playing Tim´s, Scott´s and Clay´s part. All togheter. With voice leading.
i can't learn any of it and it is stillall that was on my mind
It's freezing in that room to prevent his fingers from catching fire
Imagine if 200 years from now on polyphia songs like od and playing god are considered classical music
You make Henson sound like Bach, incredible stuff.
He deserves Tim’s signature acoustic guitar and more recognition!
I think the one he is using is worth a lot more than the one Tim uses
@@Return2TheLiving Oh, I know. But instead of having to pay extra, he doesn’t have to…
Bro is doing full melody + harmony + 808 bass lines there. Insane shit. I dare say it amazes me more than Tim's playing
restringing it must be a real torture though
Adding more strings takes time, however restringing a Floyd rose is literally a painnnnn
lmao
i think actually that floyd rose is a devil's invention
I bought an oud a while ago, and mine has 1 more. Restringing it was not such a big deal tbh. What is awful is tuning it 😂 - especially because it has different pegs.
As a classical guitarist, I can only say: simply astonishing. An incredible piece. The arrangement was beautufully done and the performance amazingly executed.
Bravo
You’re not a classical guitarist
@@yugdails you're probably not a guitarist at all, too hard for ya huh buddy?
@@yugdails why would you say that? Completely unbased statement. You have literally nothing to back that up. And even if there was something I could do to prove it to you, you wouldn't believe it.
But if there is, say it. I play a PS 3 guitar, a Prudêncio Sáez. Knobloch high tension carbon strings. Currently student playing a Bagatelle from William Walton.
Instead of posting a comment like that, pick up a guitar and practice. Or something else that you think is cool.
@@yessir942 lol dw about him/her. I mean, we don't want this to become a stupid discussion thread like what happens in yt comments
@@yugdailsthat’s so stupid to say 🤣. how do you know he’s not a classical guitarist?
Imagining trying to play this when it's so cold that his breath is visible broke my fingers
idk why these guitar videos are always in abandoned factories but it’s such a vibe
Me : WOW I would love to see this guy nail the song!
Camera : *50 miles away*
quite cinematic, loved it tho
@@ariongalba if it was a music video, I'd love it. But it's a cover yknow. I wanna see the fingerings and all just to see how he does it. It'd be cool to learn!
Outstanding! It sounded like you managed to play Tim, Scott and Clay g's parts at the same time. Now all you need to do is slap the guitar to get Clay A's drums LOL
Dude, not only is he playing their hardest song on a 10 string guitar, he’s playing it while it’s piss cold outside. Those strings are probably really cold and really tight. Insane skill.
Yes "Punk is Bak"
As a bassist, this songs great fun to play, but...
2:23 Sometimes it's the simpler things that bring me great joy. "BOM. BOM. BOM. BOMMmmm"
Confirms my suspicion that most elite modern music would translate very well to classical music
I've never seen someone play that rif without tapping, and you went ahead and played it AND the bassline with it. Absolute monster with the strings, good on you!
Pity that such talents and masterpieces do not get more attention and respect.
Because this sounds like a cacophonic mess. This party trick doesn’t distinguish you as a player with a specific sound - if someone were to play this exact note for note _ you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference of player.
@@litledevel15 Haha, you're such a bigot ..
This feels like somebody’s dad sitting down to humble his kids and their friends
Craziest dude on a acoustic sheeesh
Classical to be exact
Dude how cold is it in there and he can still play like that, geez
dude is playing like this in the cold, legend
This is why i tell my friends , classical guitarist is scary , they can play any song/piece perfectly
playing it with dicipline technique-focuse-and relaxed hand with no tension
important are the warm-up routines in slow tempo as well
“Yeah Polyphia isn’t hard enough let me just make it impossible for anybody else to play”
Well done man this is incredible
Yeah THIS is why I love youtube
Put this in the next zelda game fr
So when is Tim's signature Ibanez 10 string nylon acoustic coming out?
I don’t remember being this impressed on TH-cam.
I don't understand how this has 15k views, but he only has 2k subs. Should be 20x more
given the technical difficulty of any such arrangement, this is done quite well
WHAAAAAAT???? he even doing the BASS part😭😭😭
how do these cover dudes keep finding these cool ass abandoned warehouses ??
Probably ex soviet country. We have loads of them
Oh yeah you're right, the original wasn't hard enough.
This is insane
this is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen.
This is insane.
I play the riff fingerstyle on my classical, but like 50% speed. Insane to see the techniques to play it at full speed and precise.
Hey man, quick question.
How?
practise (something i personally do way to less)
this is actually incredible, polyphia has to see this, congrats on the amazing performance!
I love how he plays such a technical piece and in the background you just see: punk is back!
Bak*
This needs WAYYY more views
Working on it! 💪
definitely one of the coolest shit i've ever seen
Nah this guy is literally god wtf 🔥🔥
Crazy arrangement wow!! That man is playing that in the cold, WTF. Makes it so much harder!
BRO THIS IS INSANE!
I wonder what bach's reaction would be if he listened to this
Probably not to well.
his reaction would be "i cant hear shit"
@@cameronwall5159 You got him confused with Beethoven. He was the one that was deaf. Bach did end up going blind at one point.
As if learning this song wasn’t difficult enough, somehow, somebody finds a way to make this song much more difficult
And he makes it look easy...Beast.
YOU DIDNT HAVE TO GO SO HARD MY GOD!!! I really hope the boys come across this video
Bravo Dimitar. Génial.
This is simply amazing! I love the flamenco/classical inspiration in this rendition
It's amazingly clean, the guitar tone ( if you can say that) is on point. The dynamics, the fingerings ( in both hands! ). I mean... I'm biased towards classical, but this is as good or better than the original for me. I've been playing for 6 years now, and I can only hope to one day be able to play this!
Nah, i played this during the cold my hands would be frozen
this is the most impressive thing i've ever seen since a while. This guitare gives a really warm tone color to this song and it fits really good actually. Congrats dude!
I don't know what language this is meant to be written in. Could you please repeat it in a language that actually exists??? Any one of the hundreds of actual languages will do. Even annotation or tab will do!
@@dr4gon166do you speak anything other than English?
the second someone puts a humbucker on that andrew baena is going to be drooling haha
PUNK IS BAK
Cleanest Polyphia cover I have ever seen :O
This is extremely impressive. I can't imagine how much time went into writing and practicing this arrangement. Truly beautiful.
Wtf this is outrageously fucking amazing
Incredible
Inmaculate
Fucking sick, keep it up dude, my respects 👏👏👏👏
THE PICADO/APOYANDO/TIRANDO IS FLIPPING CRAZY WHOAAAAAAAA IVE BEEN TRYING TO LEARN THIS ON A NORNAL STRING CLASSICAL AND HE PLAYS IT FULL SPEED ON A 10 STRING WITH THE BASS AND HARMONIES
Caught my guitar blushing after this one
GIVE THIS MAN MORE VIEWS.
I can barely handle an 8 string, this dude rolls in with ten. Ten performance, pun intended🤯
Everyone else is impressed by the melodic part. Im just like.. how tf does rest stroke in the bass work with this?
And what is a full barre on a 10 string? 😅
Both the rest and free strokes are possible with the thumb or other fingers on the bass strings just as on the first 6. The full barre is rarely needed and it depends on the individual lenght of the finger. On the first 5-7 frets is normally possible.
@@dimitar.ivanov It is quite impressive seeing such a daunting fingerboard played with such precision and attention. Congratulations on achieving such a level of musicianship, it is well earned
With this instrumentation you can really feel just how baroque the whole composition actually is. Very well done! :)
Yeah, I don’t think you know what baroque music is.
I think he means classical, but eh, close enough.
@@chadb3931 Well they did like to put a lot of strings on their lutes and mix up ranges back then I guess lmao
@@earthboundandhopeless It's even less so I'd argue
I never started but I quit 10 string
That thing looks really fun to play
Playing polyphia in Negans house is pretty metal
HARD
the quality of this video, the playing and all that deserves millions of views
My reptile brain melted watching this.
Is it Magic?
This is what peak performance looks like 😎
Sensationa, absolutely word class
imagine tuning this thing
Crazy.
omg this is insanely clean, so beautiful, perfect this was amazingly good, i haven’t heard such a clean cover like this, this was just flawless.
Wow you’re such a beast
My toxic trait is thinking i can do this if i get that guitar.
You can if you practice
better to believe in yourself then claiming things are impossible for you to achieve
amazing skill. how you do it while freezing your ass off as well is beyond me!
this deserves millions of views ..
Yep. Pretty much exactly like I would play it. Except he plays the part where it goes beebeebababohbohdodododopiptpiptskibeeskibee a little different. And also all the parts before that. And most of the stuff after. But other than that, exactly the same.
i appreciate the acapella bit, let me know exactly what you were referring to.
This is far beyond talent
Holy fucking shit
Legendary idk how you play bass and guitar at the same time and not mess up any notes or rhythms
extrodinary
This is my favorite Polyphia's song, it is so sick how it sounds. Great job!
I regularly update my website or FB/Instagram pages. We can find all the information there. Thank you!
Wow. That guitar has no business existing, much less being just shredded upon by you. Excellent arrangement, tasteful video, and of course, superb performance. Thanks for this one!
That's Playing God means! Congrats!
not just the playing, the video is amazing as well, everything is perfect here
I'm speechless
I’ve got a $20 on it If you do a collaboration with the band! Such a complete and convincing rendition. Thank you.
I’m here at 1.93k subs and I hope that your subscriber count blows up! Your talent deserves to be seen by more and more people. Here’s to hoping that Tim and Scott watch this amazing arrangement/cover! 👍🏽👍🏽
Your fluidity is unbelievable
Yep this is nuts.
